We can't recommend highly enough Goddard Putney! They have been our go-to vet for our dog during our years in London, and when it came time to move abroad they helped us navigate the complex paperwork involved in shipping an animal internationally. The vets are top-notch and the admin team is super responsive and helpful, including contacting us on a weekend to make sure we were aware of a rule change that could affect our travel. Even the dog enjoyed our visits. We will miss the team!

All really professional. This was the first time Gigi visited Goddard’s - and the first time she didn’t completely freak out at a vet’s! She was calm and happy throughout and everyone was really friendly. Thank you Goddard’s!

I have been a customer of the clinic for 4 years now and I hope this review can serve as an alert of the number of frustrating experiences I had with this place trying to overcharge me in quotes / services not performed, but more recently I had enough as after my dogs annual vaccination appointment I was charged £60/dog for an annual health check that was conduceted by a vet that did not had the professionalism to remove the dogs winter coats and leashes. This clinic might have a free pass in the past with not many vets around Putney, but I am sure you can find better alternatives nowadays. AVOID IT!

AVOID AVOID AVOID We had a very disappointing experience at the Putney branch. Blood work that was included in the estimate was never performed, and we were quoted two different prices for an additional test — one by the vet, another at reception. Our cat was seen by different vets at each visit, leading to conflicting opinions about her condition. Post-surgery care was poorly managed — we were told to come for a check-up, but arrived to find the doors locked with no notice. I was 9 months pregnant, left standing outside with our cat in a carrier. No communication, no apology, no follow-up, when I emailed them I got an answer after a few days that they have problem with staff and they were unable to cover that shift. We ended up at the Wimbledon branch in an emergency, where the team were incredibly kind and professional, and we’ve now moved our cat’s care there.

I can not thank Rhiannon, the vet and Alex the nurse who helped me with my final appointment with my cat Ivy who sadly had to be put to sleep. The care and compassion at my appointment and just everything made her passing peaceful and though I was upset at the time, my reflection of the day was one of her having a good death. I also received a heartfelt condolence card and paw print 🐾 which I shall treasure.... I have other cats and I always have a good experience here. Can not recommend highly enough.

We were helped with our end of life care for our cat. The staff were so kind, so compassionate and were so patient with us at this difficult time. We took our new kitten for his first vaccination the vet was so good with him and ensured we were familiar with what was happening. Would definitely recommend this veterinary clinic
