My boy was assisted over the rainbow bridge on Saturday the 30th may 2025, I was devastated and the vet was very sympathetic and showed me and Fenton ( my boy) care and respect and understanding as I was so upset, he explained what was and what will happen and he offered to take his paw print and a fur sample from our very loved 17 and 4 month old Pomeranian and he even gave me a hug and was not rushing us out even though it closed at 12.30 he gave our boy strokes and dignity and care . Thank you for showing such care and support and love for our boy xx

Took my dogs for their vaccinations. Saw the most lovely Kirsty - she was absolutely brilliant with my girls. I really appreciated the time she spent asking me about them, giving me great advice, checking them over and then giving them their vaccination. I would definitely recommend her. Her time and care were second to none. Thank you Kristy

We visited earlier today for our Airedale, Lottie, who is on holiday with us in the area. All the staff we spoke to were welcoming, friendly and extremely professional. Lottie was thoroughly examined, and although we are only visiting the area, the staff were so accommodating in giving us a consultation really promptly and we didn’t feel rushed at any point during her appointment. Vets often receive bad press for cost etc, however we would 100% recommend Kingsway-we could not have been offered service any better elsewhere.

Had to make an emergency appointment as our dog was ill for a few days with no sign of any improvement. Thoroughly checked, medication given. Informed if no improvement within 24 hrs, contact the practice. Very satisfied with treatment, all staff friendly & efficient. It was very busy when we arrived & reception staff kept us informed as to when we'd be seen by one of the vets.

I wholeheartedly recommend the team at Kingsway Veterinary Group. Our sweet little cat Molly sadly got hit by a car at the weekend. Luckily she survived but she was in a bad way and we didn’t know if we were going to lose her. We were able to get her seen immediately at Kingsway (on a Sunday) by Beth. Beth gently examined Molly and gave us an idea of what might have happened. After x-rays and tests Beth kept us informed of how she was throughout the day and let us know possible treatment options and approximate costs. We had more follow up calls on Monday, a meeting with the surgeon Steven and a very welcome visit to see Molly at the surgery. Steven clearly explained the whole process to me. Molly had broken her leg in two places. It needed plating and pinning in several places. Steven and the nursing team kept us informed of how things were before and after the operation and how Molly had got on overnight. I’m very pleased to say that Molly is now safely home where she belongs - just a day after the operation. As a family we can’t thank the whole Kingsway team enough for their kindness, their expertise and for keeping us fully informed throughout the process. We really appreciate it. Here is Molly before her accident.

I just wanted to say a huge thankyou to everyone who looked after out beautiful boy Gizmo when he crossed the rainbow bridge on the 24th of July. You where so kind, nothing was too much trouble, you gave us as much time as we needed before and after to say our goodbyes. Even when we where ready to leave you covered him with a blanket and one of the nurses sat with him until he was taken to be cremated, that was just such a sweet thing for you to do! You organised everything right down to Charlotte collecting him to be cremated and being able to pick his ashes up from the vets! Today we collected Gizmo's ashes which thanks to Charlotte was presented so beautiful. There was a beautiful card from everyone at the vets, you had taken the time do his paw prints, nose prints and save us some of his hair. These little things mean so much to us in such a sad time. We will forever remember your kindness, thankyou so much from us all ♥️

Contacted Kingsway vets to get a librela jab for my elderly spaniel whilst I was away from home. I had a prescription from my usual vet in Ireland so was a very simple matter of providing the drug and administering the injection. The good :- Pleasant reception staff and vet, easy to book an appointment pleasant surgery with easy parking. The bad:- THE PRICE I normally pay 90 euros (£78.78 sterling) for the monthly injection from my vet in Ireland here l payed £162.47 for the same injection (We were in the consultation room for just over 3 minutes) . I expected to pay more in the UK as it has a reputation for over the top veterinary costs but this price is nothing short of scandalous. If I need to seek veterinary treatment in the UK in future I will be sure to find an independent practice not corporate rip of merchants !!
