Once again my dog Albert had great treatment from Medivet in Acton. He goes regularly for his arthritis injection and loves going. He always receives a lot of attention and kindness from everyone.

We had the worst experience at this clinic and would not recommend it to anyone. Firstly, there appears to be very poor communication between the vets. We visited several times within a short period and saw a different vet on each occasion. Every time, we were asked the same questions and often given conflicting information compared with the previous consultation. It felt completely disorganised and lacking in continuity of care. We then had a terrible experience with one of the receptionists, who was extremely rude when we requested to see a different vet. At one point, she told us: “If you want to see another vet, then go somewhere else.” We are also paying for the Medivet+ plan, which turned out to be a complete waste of money. When we said we would follow her suggestion and move to another clinic, therefore cancelling the plan, the first thing she said was: “I’m going to charge the remaining balance of the plan anyway.” Rather than trying to de-escalate the situation or help resolve our concerns, her focus seemed entirely on money. She also repeatedly threatened us by saying: “I will sack you, I will sack you”, which we understood to mean removing our pet from the system. To make matters worse, she refused to give us her name. We submitted an official complaint through their own process, but it appears they do not know how to handle complaints properly. Overall, this has been an incredibly stressful and upsetting experience, especially when trying to care for a pet that requires medical attention.

My cat Picchu was recently lethargic and off his food and I got an appointment the day I called. Valentina soon found a lump in his abdomen and was able to do an ultrasound there and then and confirmed that he has a lymphoma. Obviously this is a shock as he is only 10, but it was so helpful to know the facts so quickly so that we could decide how to go forward. Valentina and Vesi couldn’t have been more helpful, informative and sympathetic, which makes this sad experience much more bearable.

Big shout out to Laura and Juri at Medivet! They have been the sweetest most professional and kind vets with my cat Bertino, and old gentlecat who’s not a fan on vet visits 😅 and yet they managed the magic and its sore paw is now on the mend. Thank you to you and the always lovely nurses too!

We felt very welcome — everyone from the receptionist and vet nurse to Vesi, the vet, was wonderful. Chloe was so well looked after, and we left feeling confident she’s in great hands. She received plenty of treats and cuddles, and was absolutely delighted to visit the vet!

I have a slightly difficult cat to treat, so I was really grateful for all of the team who were really caring kind and understanding. I am usually stressed when I have to go to the vet because I know that my cat can act up, but I came away from the appointment feeling confident and reassured that they still cared for her well-being, even though she can be naughty.
