Moorview were excellent with our girl Poppy during one of the most difficult times of our lives. From the first phone call after our vet made the referral, all the way through her treatment and a follow up after she returned home to check how she was recovering, we could not have asked for more. Ashleigh was excellent at keeping us informed during what was understandably a very worrying time and we were very grateful for all of the staff, including the nurses who sent us photos of our girl whilst she had an overnight stay.

I lost my dog this Tuesday (worst day of my entire life) but I truly cannot fault moorview, they were so kind to me and Lua. And this helped with her very sudden passing. The lovely receptionist was so kind and gentle with me and my grief and the vet helped me see through a solid wall of grief. She helped my dog pass with peace and some dignity. They are a credit to the practice so sorry I forgot names but it was the lovely Irish vet and the receptionist who was still there 20 minutes after her shift ended. Thank you so much

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My German Shepherd, Inca, attended this hospital for two years while receiving chemotherapy treatment for lymphoma, and I honestly cannot thank this team enough. From the very beginning, the staff were incredible at supporting not only Inca, but me as well. A very special thank you to the reception team — especially Jo and Chesley — who knew Inca from the start, always made a fuss of him, and never hesitated to give me a cuddle when I needed one. Their kindness meant more than they will ever know. To all the vets and nurses, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the care, love, and respect you showed Inca throughout his treatment. He always came in happy, with a waggy tail, and chemo was never a stressful experience for him. In fact, whenever we pulled up in the car outside the hospital, he would drag me in — that alone says everything about the environment you create. Lastly, I want to thank you for the beautiful, loving goodbye Inca received before he was put to sleep. As heartbreaking as that day was — and still is — he was surrounded by so much love and respect. The reception team even made sure he could have his last favourite meal before he passed, which they paid for out of their own pockets. That level of compassion is something I will never forget. What an absolutely amazing hospital and team. I will be forever grateful.

My cat Yami, went in on Monday 8th December after not eating for 6 days and the vet didn't know what was wrong. He sadly passed away on the 12th December. I cannot thank everyone there enough for looking after my beautiful boy and making sure he was comfortable. We visited him several days and they let us spend quite a bit of time with him. The communication throughout was excellent, whether it was good or bad news. They were so compassionate and sympathetic, even at the end. These guys are special humans to do this every day. They did everything they could and I appreciate all they did. My beautiful boy is at peace now 😔

Brilliant night of First Aid and CPR for pet owners tonight. Well presented and informative and the three nurses were excellent in their delivery and happy to answer all questions and the CPR demonstration was very professionaly done. Well done Christine, Robyn and Emily and the team behind the scenes Laura and T.

CJ, our vet yesterday, handled the diagnosis and next steps for our lovely dog Molly so wonderfully well. Unfortunately, the outcome was not as anyone had hoped (a spinal tumour) so we had to say goodbye. We were referred same-day for the MRI and CJ handled everything so sensitively. It was very dignified with clear and open discussions and above all compassion when we were a dithering mess. Would totally recommend. Thankyou Moorview Referrals and CJ. X

Have received a great service from Moorview Referrals while having investigations for our cat, Bo. She's still receiving treatment 6 months later while we experiment with medication dosage and monitor progress. We have really good discussions with the vet - we feel listened to and are part of any decisions. We've had lots of good advice on what else we can do to compliment the medication through diet and more. The rest of the staff are all great too, always helpful when I'm ordering our collecting her prescriptions. Prescriptions are ready quickly, often same day or 72 hours max if something isn't in stock. Overall, we've had nothing but a positive experience and feel like Bo is in good hands.
