Really happy with the service today for my dog’s dental work. We have recently moved and it’s always a concern going somewhere new but from start to finish it was a good experience. I felt like my dog was treated well and her needs were understood (she’s a nervous nature) . Thank you so much everyone.

I’ve never been to a corporate vet clinic before and wasn’t sure what to expect. Recently moved to the area and was sad to leave my previous vet. I was really impressed though, definitely had a 5-star experience!! Reception team was very helpful over the phone answering questions ahead of the appointment and getting us registered. The rates are really reasonable, IMO, and the clinic rooms are very clean and modern. The vet I saw was knowledgeable and easy to converse with. She was thorough and listened to our history and answered every question. I didn’t feel rushed or patronized. It was great! Came in for a routine exam on a senior canine to primarily renew arthritis meds and establish a patient file. Paid about £22 for a paper prescription for a 6 month script. Well worth it. The exam itself was £40. The company has a decent pet plan that adds pretty good value back for the patient. It’s also handy that I can do my pet food errands afterwards as my senior needs specialty food. Not sure how this place might be if facing challenging differentials or complex pathologies, but for routine care and maintenance definitely a great choice. Good job, vets for pets team!

Called Newark vets for pets to arrange a date for our dogs diabetes check up and the vet who dealt with him wasn’t in and the admin couldn’t actually state when she was back. We also had to pay a deposit just to get his appointment which we’ve never had to do before. He’s registered there and supported by this service. I found the receptionist rude and very matter of fact. Our dog means the world to us and when I asked about his repeat 6 month prescription so we can purchase his insulin the receptionist again didn’t seem to care. We’ve paid a lot of money and a little empathy would have been nice

The receptionist was incredibly rude, when I told him that the reason we didn’t get to respond to a message about flea treatment ( nothing life or death ) I apologised for the delay in response and said we had a loss in the family and some on going health issues he responded that “ that he didn’t care and it’s not their problem “. I was utterly shocked by this response. I understand it was our fault in a delay in responding but it wasn’t a major treatment issue just monthly de flea treatment and the response was so unsympathetic and nasty. We’re now moving vets as this is the second time the same male receptionist has been rude to us.

AVOID this vets at all costs. This establishment have seen my dog since 12 weeks old, and created a fear for him with doing his puppy 2nd injections wrong - since then he's always seen a male vet who handled him correctly and in a strong manner, however a year ago a very timid young vet who clearly lacked experience and wasn't a strong Individual or understood the difference of a scared dog to a dangerous dog went completely the wrong way about giving my dog vaccinations, to the point she tried muzzling him which made him even more anxious, none of this was discussed with me until after the incident. I was with him the entire time however when I went to vets for pets again today I was greeted by an extremely rude vet named jenny who labelled my dog as dangerous by telling me he bite last time he was in the appointment. This is complete fabrication written on his file but she got even more entitled and more obnoxious that she wasn't able to see that he was just scared due to the mistreatments he has recieved by this vet practise. I will be writing a full official complaint on this matter and will pursue further. My dog is fully trained and has NEVER bitten a human in his entire life and I will not be told by some half wit that he is a bite risk. Learn about dog behaviour especially with extremely intelligent dogs, and maybe don't abuse and fabricate stories in future, you should be ashamed of your treatment today and maybe you'll benefit by attending a dog behavioul course like I have to help you to better yourself in your job at understanding dog behaviour. Vets for pets has a bad reputation for a reason people, AVOID! its cheap for a reason.

Rude and argumentative staff (Holly) who promises a call back but never does. Who would have guessed - as soon as I called, she was 'just about to do it' . Advises on the day of restocking flea and worm treatment for my cat that he needs to come in to be weighed, and no medication will be dispensed until then. As I work, like I assume a lot of their customers do, I cannot just 'pop in' as soon as they decide I need to, and therefore puts my pets medication on hold for at least 28 days. No mention of this practice was ever mentioned at the point of signing up, nor was anything mentioned when I picked up the last prescription. Blames being unable to provide the paid for medication on a managers decision, who, amazingly, cannot be contacted, and its 'up to them' if they contact me back or not - great customer service. Cancelled my plan, but still haven't received the terms and conditions she kept referring to - having checked the website, no term exists.
