I cannot commend the staff at this practice enough. My girl was in their care for 3 years and she staff were always lovely and gentle, and giving her so much fuss. She's very nervous but not once did the staff make her uncomfortable or stressed. I have relocated abroad and the staff were above and beyond helpful with the entire process. They helped me with the required documents, the timelines, the timings and everything I needed. I'm pleased to say the move went very smoothly, Vashai was calm the entire 19 hour journey (thanks to their suggestions of suitable anti anxiety medication) and there were no problems at all thanks to the diligently filled out animal health certificate. Thank you to all of the staff that helped to take care of my Vashai since she was just a tiny little kitten! I cannot recommend this practice enough.

I’ve visited Vets for Pets Newport and had a really poor customer service experience. The receptionists were not welcoming and didn't explain anything, seeming quite robotic in their interactions just wanting charge money from clients and let them go quicker. Additionally, during a previous appointment with my cat, a Veterinary Surgeon Katerina responded to my question in an inappropriate and joking manner, including an unprofessional gesture of the middle finger which was very unprofessional and disrespectful. This was very disturbing to witness as a client. The work they do is made by protocols and there was no issue so far with that. But the attitude of the most of staff, especially receptionists, is awful.

my dog was ill and my veterinary practice could not get me an appointment unless I could travel to Barry. I contacted Vets for Pets and after receiving my dogs details I was able to take him for consultation and treatment. Thank you everyone there, hopefully our little boy is on the mend. Thank you all again.

Similar to others below, don’t bother complaining or raising concerns as they get twisted and not answered in a polite or correct manner at all. Called us liars and then had a go for not being rude if we were unhappy? We loved it here but it quickly became clear it was about money only

I’m a new pet owner with my very first kitten. We’ve been to Vets4Pets a few times these past few months and have only had good experiences. All vets or nurses I’ve seen have always been very patient, caring and always willing to answer any questions. They always take good care of my kitten, offering him treats and being patient with him as he’s quite timid. The treatment he receives has meant vet trips are not a big ordeal or major stress for him. As an anxious owner I truly can’t thank the practice enough for making every visit as calm and stress free as possible

My partner and I brought in a stray male cat last week- he was really poorly and we were really concerned about him. The team at Vets4Pets took him straight in and treated him whilst we waited for him to be reunited with his owner. Fantastic service and very kind and caring staff. Thank you so much for helping us with him and we’re so pleased to hear he’s been reunited with his owner ❤️

Every member of staff here have been nothing but lovely. We see Kat mainly with our dog who recurrently has infections so we go at least three times a year for treatment. I often call on the day and can get an appointment that same day. My dog was incredibly wary of people when we rescued her but she actually enjoys her visits to the vets and has built up a good level of trust with the vet. Vet prices are very high everywhere and we have a larger breed dog so it's never cheap but this comes hand in hand as a pet owner. Thanks for always making missy more comfortable, even when we are discussing her weight 😂

I want to express my deepest gratitude to the entire clinic, and especially to Jack Evans , for their compassion, kindness, and understanding during the most difficult time of my cat’s life. From the moment we walked in, I felt that they truly cared — not only about my beloved cat but also about us as we faced the hardest decision any pet parent has to make. Jack was patient, gentle, and so empathetic. He took the time to explain everything, never rushed us, and treated my cat with such tenderness and respect. I’m truly sorry that I only found this clinic now, during her final days. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making her final moments peaceful, and for giving us comfort and understanding when we needed it most.
