Excellent vets practice. We had to use the emergency call out for one of our pets with a serious head trauma injury. The vet and all staff provided a professional standard of care and follow up care. Our little puppy is on the path to recovery and without the rapid response and emergency attention it could have been a different story.

Very caring and helpful with our cat. He's now back to normal and enjoying life. The staff are really friendly, and if I lived here instead of holidaying, they would definitely be our vets. Highly recommended to us by Matthew King, who is also very impressed with them. Thank you once again.

We always find the staff at the surgery to be highly professional, while also kind and reassuring. They are excellent at settling our anxious cats, Millie and Rosie, who are usually quite worked up about their visits. Their care and compassion really make a difference.

Always a good vet in terms of getting an appointment but their prices have increased much more than the rate of inflation since they have been taken over so we’re looking elsewhere.

Absolutely fantastic veterinary clinic. Would highly recommend. When I took my dog to the surgery to explain his symptoms, the vet took the time to listen and even take notes with pen and paper as to what I was saying. Very attentive and helpful. Her advice was very helpful too. Brilliant.

Our wee one came from rescue being quite reactive. Everyone invested in her care doesn’t flinch or mind that she is reactive towards them. The understanding by the entire team is well received and noted. Thank you for your kindness towards her, despite her reactivity, and on this basis we would absolutely recommend Nithsdale Vets, Dumfries.

First visit to this vets. Easy to find. Parking available. Lovely, friendly staff. My dog was seen quickly. The vet was fantastic. Very patient with my numerous questions and concerns. Accurate diagnosis given, which would never have occurred to me. Medicine prescribed with clear instructions as to the correct administration. I'm very happy and will continue to visit here in future.

Today my baby simba had to be admitted for surgery It’s been traumatic for me I’d just like to say Thank you to you all so far for helping simba he’s not out of woods yet but I trust the process !
