Friendly receptionist in the bright clean welcoming surgery. I explained why we were there and the vet who's name I think was Alice was friendly and asked about our Axolotl's systems and history. She gave her a exam , asked about the tank and spoke about dip stick tests that are really important which we have at home. Didn't feel that a x-ray was needed tho said that she was in Heathall this week coming and we could go to there if we were concerned.

Winston is a very flighty dog but Tanya was brilliant with him she spoke away to him a even when she touched his sore bits he turned round to give her a kiss. Amy from reception was brilliant keeping me up to date with things and the vet nurses were great as I asked how he was when I wasn't there they said he was a bit flighty but once they spoke to him etc they said he was fine he was still sleeping when I went for him. lol. Yes all the girls in nithsdale vets are great I'm so pleased now to take our dogs to nithsdale vets. Thank you girls 🐾🐾

I'm extremely happy with Nithsdale Vets they are local and all Vets/nurses and admin staff are friendly and helpful and l highly recommend this veterinary practice to anyone who needs a vet. I get text every time my dog needs her vaccinations or worming/flea injection and twice yearly health checks many thanks 😊

We recently had to make the difficult decision to have our best pal put to sleep. Everyone at Nithsdale vets, from Sophie and Finlay at the desk, to the Vet and nurse who came to our house, were absolutely brilliant and made a difficult time that bit easier. Thanks guys xXx

My dog actually pulls to get into the vets in Thornhill where we are always welcomed and all staff are very helpful and explain everything. Would definitely recommend this practice to family and friends.

We were heading off on holiday with our two dogs when one was very unwell. Nithsdale Vets were very busy but managed to fit us in, and our dog made a speedy recovery. We are very relieved and thankful.
