I’ve had a fantastic experience here with my very shy, sensitive rescue cat. Everyone I’ve spoken to has been incredibly patient, supportive, knowledgeable and kind, always willing to answer my (many) questions. We’ve seen Fiona a couple of times now and she’s been amazing both with our cat, and us! Thank you so much to everyone at Pet Practice :)

Thank you to vet Ben and veterinary nurse Cheryl for their loving and knowledgeable care for our gingerman Sambo who had a polyp removed from his right ear today. Excellent communication and explanation regarding the procedure, approachable and very friendly. Thank you so much!

Moved over to Pet Practice today and what a difference. The care, kindness, and time taken to really get to know my dog was amazing to see. He’s quite anxious due to having had very regular vet appointments, but the team made such an effort to put him at ease and build trust. It means so much to see him feel more relaxed and comfortable. I couldn’t be happier with the care he’s received.

I called Pets Practice today regarding my dog’s premolar fracture and received such kind and thoughtful advice from Jazmin. This is not my normal practice but I needed to call for some extra advice on how to proceed. Jazmin went above and beyond explaining everything to me and telling me what my options were giving me so much of her time. I was feeling pretty upset about it but this experience made me feel so much better. I wish all vets and vet nurses were like this. Best service I’ve ever had when calling up a vets. Thanks!

We cannot give this incredible practice a higher review. We recently moved from a local vets in Old Basing to Pet Practice in Chineham and shortly after we registered him, our beloved little dog Teddy became very poorly and was diagnosed with pancreatitis. From the moment we arrived at Pet Practice for his first appointment, we were greeted so warmly and Teddy was made a big fuss of by the lovely Kat. Vet Joe examined Teddy with such knowledge, understanding, professionalism and compassion. Teddy was admitted for the day but sadly didn’t respond to treatment and we were left to make the agonising decision to put him to sleep. Our hearts were torn in two and my husband and two of our three sons took Teddy the next day for what we dreaded. Joe and the team were all so calm and caring. The attention to detail was so touching. They’d kept his blanket for him to lay on on top of their cushioned blanket. Teddy’s passing was so professionally performed. We chose this practice as it was local and independent. We had no idea it would be filled with such a devoted, caring team of dedicated kind professionals. A sincere thank you Joe and team for giving our Teddy the kindest end of life care-we will always speak so highly of you to show our endless gratitude. And to our dear little 15 year old Teddy, you’ve left our home feeling void and empty. I still go to fill your dog bowl, and feel I can hear your pitter patter. We miss you terribly but feel so very blessed we had you as long as we did….

The Best Vets I've Ever Been To! I cannot recommend this place enough! I have a feline ginger demon spawn (rescue), and other vets have struggled to give her a full examination once she hits her limit, (which is a pretty short fuse). But then came Joe (seriously, thank you, Joe! & Kat!). He worked magic—dousing the room in a calming spray, speaking softly, and handling her with such care that I never imagined she could turn into a floppy cat 😅 The staff here are fantastic—friendly, cheerful, and incredibly knowledgeable. They offer great advice and make every visit a positive experience. Plus, the store and groomers are a great bonus, adding to the already welcoming atmosphere. If you're looking for a vet who truly cares, this is the place to go!
