Medivet - Basingstoke

Fantastic team, very knowledgeable, friendly, affordable and took great care of my pug Doreen.

I've been with this outfit for the best part of thier existence, near on 40 years. Today I say good riddance to highly inflated prices, poor service and staff who couldn't give a dam. Sad day when a "group company" takes over a local vets. It's no longer about you and your pet, it's about how much profit they can make. The staff were once beautiful people, now they're stressed out and rushed with no or little empathy. Two dogs going elsewhere.

We only registered with MediVet maybe 8-9 months before we sadly lost our cat Nellie to diabetes but I cannot fault the team at the Basingstoke branch for doing everything they could for her and genuinely caring for her when she was in with them. The last 6 months were super challenging for us but we felt reassured and supported with the MediVet team alongside us. Ordering repeat medication was no issue and the team went above and beyond to ensure Nellie had everything she needed. Thank you so much MediVet team.

Our family has had such a positive experience with the Chineham team, Ciara and Jemma, in particular are always so friendly and kind. Our cat, Cookie, was sadly killed by a car and they could not do enough for us; they treated us with so much kindness, compassion and thoughtfulness. She was our first family pet and the staff were always so helpful and friendly when we would come in for check ups and vaccinations etc. The positive way in which we were supported after her death made a real difference to us. Thank you again. I cannot recommend them or their practice enough.

I cannot get over how wonderful these guys treat my furbabies. We have called with questions regarding them at all hours and it's never too much trouble to answer and advice us. Our pets love them they feel comfortable here unlike previous vets where they have been so scared they soiled themselves. Here they explore and get affection from staff. I highly recommend this vets

Our pets are incredibly important to our family. So you can imagine how worried we were when one of our cats had a recoccurance of a bladder problem. The vet explained our options clearly and with care. Surgery was required. It is clear to us that animal care isn't just a job for the staff at this branch of Medivet. They really do care about the best outcome for your pet. The team communicate clearly and don't make you feel silly for asking a billion questions. Reasonably priced services and plentiful parking available close by. I recommend this vet and the team.
