Reviewing purely to raise awareness and hopefully prevent this same thing happened to me happening to someone else. If I could give 0 stars I would. Things started off good with no issues, friendly staff etc. But things took turn for the worse when I actually needed professional vets to aid my dog. They were very negligent and just seemed to pump him full of different meds. My dog was biten by another dog and had cuts etc but nothing serious. As soon as we took him to there Scunthorpe branch ' as this is there emergency centre' he was never the same and deteriorated slowly, which was not nice to watch. Turns out he had blood poisoning. We told the vets 100 times he's not right. All they said was here take this tablet 3 times a day. No checks, nothing. Truly unprofessional and shocking service. We kept going back to be told it's OK it's normal etc etc etc '' here's some more meds '' but when you know deep down it's not. You carnt argue as they are the '' professionals'' or so they say.. They have sent treating letters saying we owe them money when it's down to the insurance. If you use this vet and need a emergency you will have to drive 45mins to Scunthorpe or your insurance will be void if you use a closer emergency vets in Doncaster. ( same illness different vets 'apparently') I want to raise awareness that the staff seem nice but are very negligent and rude when you need them the most. I don't want anyone else going through what I have been through. They are more interest in getting that vet bill higher for insurance to pay out than the health of your dog. I've asked for explanations or just to talk to a higher vet and keep getting fobbed off, but there happy to get intouch about bills. It's a convientient to use as its local but if you ever come to needing serious or emergency help I would strongly reccomend using another vets that can offer a local emergency vets out of hours etc. ( so your insurance is still valid ) Overall I feel let down and I feel the reason my dog is not here today is due to the negligence of the vets at the scawthorpe, barnby dun and Scunthorpe branches. Ino theres more good reviews than bad, but these good reviews are not reviewing serious care required by them. Think wisely before using them.

good place just annoying the pedestrian entrance isnt accessible because they cant open gate. been like it a long while but not fixed. means you have to go down car entrancs which isnt exactly safe and then when you get to the footpath theres some sort of metal panel to trip over. if your going its safer to go in car

Taken my dog here to be spayed I was so nervous as never gone through with this before, this being my first dog and they were so comforting and explained everything to me fully and took their time to make sure I understood things and didn't worry. My little girl came out with a lovely clean wound and the post op checks have been great with lots of information given at every step of the way and the staff actually treat your animal as though it's their own. Great experience for me and their prices are low compared to other vets for everything I've found. I really appreciate everything they have done and how caring and compassionate they have been. Love Rachel and River

Reception staff are friendly and helpful but vets are variable. When I had my cat put to sleep they were great and again when my dog had tumours they were good. However when I took my other dog with a lump on his back they just said they didn't know what it was and that was the end of the consultation. I had to request tests where a different member of staff quickly diagnosed it as an abcess that just needed squeezing.

I love the staff in this vets, they are the best! We seem to have been there non stop with our two new rescues, one being spayed, the other with anal gland issues. Blossom says thank you to the staff for being so kind even though she's a bit of a baby 🤣 Wouldn't go anywhere else x
