Rhyd Broughton have been out vets for the last 25 years, caring for our dogs and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Everyone is fantastic and there for you when you need them. Took our little Taz yesterday, he has a heart murmur and hasn't been well this past week. Saw Rory who is a fantastic vet, and we agreed to start Taz on some heart meds. Rory is very kind and caring and always willing to explain everything, you never feel rushed or pushed into doing something you don't want to. I highly recommend this vets.

amazing service today, rang at 8:30am on a saturday with concerns over limping puppy, appointment at 9am and out with treatment by 9:30am. Our first trip to this vets! receptionist was kind on phone took time to listen and get all information, when we arrived waiting room was spacious and well thought out, didn’t have to wait long and went into appointment with the vet. He was thorough, took his time to get all the information, had a look at him walking and then had a good feel and checked his overall health too. He was reassuring in a stressful moment and his dog handling skills were great and gave our puppy a positive experience in a painful situation which is something I look for with a vets. Our puppy has already made huge improvements and is back to his cheeky self so thank you. 🙏 as great as they are, fingers crossed we aren’t back so soon! hahaha

I regularly visit Rhyd Broughton Vets with my dog, Gracie, who is being monitored for a chronic condition, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care we’ve received. The receptionists are always welcoming, friendly, and very helpful, which makes every visit smooth and reassuring. Dr. Amy Hargreaves has been outstanding throughout—professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. She takes the time to explain everything clearly and ensures we feel confident about Gracie’s treatment and ongoing care. Managing a chronic condition can be stressful, but her support and attention to detail make a real difference. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a compassionate and reliable veterinary team.

We've been visiting Rhyd Broughton and specifically vet Laura Day for approx 4 years with a plethora of health issues for my cat.. Laura is incredible at her job. She takes some much time to understand the issues and tackle them one by one. She genuinely cares about Kobes and we really appreciate that. Carla & the reception team are also incredible, they remember you and your pet by name and cant do enough for you. Lastly the nurses are all great, Lauren really cared for Kobes when he was admitted like he was the only animal in her care. All staff are a credit, but a huge thank you especially to Laura for her knowledge, care and sincerity... Laura you make tough and emotional situations much better & you're a hero to us - thank you.

Great rapport with my dog. Very calming attitude as well as very informative. He had his jabs but didn't flinch. Cost wasn't too bad either.
