Vets Now operated on our black labrador over the Easter weekend. We were kept in touch with updates and had a call to say when he would be going to theatre. I asked for a call when the op was done, no matter what time that was. Appreciated the call to put my stressed mind at rest, even at 1.30am! I'm pleased to say our dog is on the mend. Vets Now have been great and communication and advice over the insurance claim process has been really helpful. Would recommend.

Exceptional! I attended the out of hours Tuesday 10th March at 8pm with my dog Belle at Rhyd in Wrexham. The receptionist was such a sweetheart! She explained everything I needed to know about fees and insurance paperwork and took care of us the entire time. The vet was very thorough and ensured my dog was comfortable at all times. This was the perfect example of the right people in the right jobs. Thank you x

We needed a C-Section in the middle of the night! Sarah and her team were excellent, explained everything and took great care of Becky and her puppies! They could not have been more helpful and caring

Excellent service from both Julie and Sarah. Sadly we had a heartbreaking decision to put our beautiful Rosie to sleep, but the time, the compassion, friendly and understanding service helped us beyond words. Personally I thought it was good value, compared to our day vet prices. Highly recommend this out of hours veterinary service.

Very helpful and polite. The vet listened to my concerns and advised me on all options to treat my cat. I went away feeling happy that my cat had the best care possible. Reception was also very helpful and explained the cost and helped with insurance forms on my behalf.

What can I say. I’m still overwhelmed by the amazing experience I’ve just had with Vets Now Wrexham! From the moment I arrived until I left, Deb and Gloria were the most authentic, caring people and I couldn’t put into words the thanks I have for them. I rang Vets Now helpline where I was able to easily be triaged and spoke to Deb on the phone regarding my male cats odd behaviour. I thought he was constipated, however, Deb was able to suggest (without worrying myself) that it could be a blockage in his urinary tract. I followed her advice and kept an eye on him and after not passing urine for another 2 hours, I was able to be seen quickly and for Mickey to have his procedure and be home in under 2 hours!! Words can’t express the gratitude we as a family have for you! Without Vets Now Wrexham, Deb and Gloria, who knows what could have happened to Mickey Mouse Michael Jackson W! We will be eternally grateful to you and will 100% recommend you to everyone. Thank you so much

Vets Now have been an absolute lifesaver. I’ve used their out‑of‑hours service three times now and the staff have always been really friendly and helpful. The only reason it’s 4 stars instead of 5 is the cost, it’s super expensive (£313 consultation fee). It worries me that a lot of people’s pets may suffer if they can’t afford this, especially since they don’t do direct insurance claims. You have to pay upfront and claim it back yourself, and if you do make an insurance claim there’s an extra admin charge on top, which isn’t covered by insurance. So that’s just something to be aware of. But I can’t fault the service or the staff, they’re amazing.

The call handler was very nice but when I arrived at the vets (it was about 6.20am), so not really early & i was booked in for 6.30 I had ring the intercom twice before anyone answered and then wait about 10 minutes outside with my poorly dog for someone to let me in and then wait again to see the vet (I was the only person there). The vet examined my dog, advised his temperature was fine, saying I hadn't allowed enough time for the medication my own vets had prescribed to work & why hadn't I waited for my own vets to open as it would have been alot cheaper & saved me money. I subsequently did have to take my dog back to my own vets later that morning as he wasn't improving, when they checked him they found he had a very high temperature, causing them to performed blood & urine tests and gave him further antibiotics & inflammation injections. My dog has since been diagnosed with pancreatitis & a suspected form of meningitis. The emergency vets experience really upset me & made me feel like I was wasting the vets' time ,when I was really worried about my dogs health and I went to them for help and reassurance. I would not recommend Vets now based this experience.
