Welcome to Tern Veterinary Group, a friendly and caring veterinary practice located in the town of Newport in Shropshire, England. With a team of highly qualified veterinary surgeons and nurses, the practice offers a wide range of services for all types of animals, including birds, cats, cattle, dogs, equines, pigs, poultry, sheep, goats, and small mammals.

The practice is open six days a week, from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm on weekdays and from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm on Saturdays. On Sundays, the practice is closed to allow our team to recharge and get ready for the week ahead. We understand that your pet’s healthcare needs may not always fit in with your schedule, so we offer weekend appointments to make it easier for you to get the care your pet needs.

At Tern Veterinary Group, we believe that prevention is better than cure. That’s why we offer a range of preventive care services to keep your pet healthy, including wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite prevention, and nutritional counseling. Our team also provides comprehensive medical and surgical services to diagnose and treat any health issues your pet may be experiencing.

Our veterinary surgeons, Mr. Dermot Costelloe, Mr. Nicholas Rowe, Mr. John Steel, Mr. Timothy Crawford, and Mrs. Lucy French, are highly experienced and are committed to providing the highest standard of care to our patients. They are supported by our team of compassionate veterinary nurses, Miss Carly Atkinson, Miss Amy-Lea Bradley, and Mrs. Laura Rigby, who are dedicated to ensuring that your pet receives the best possible care during their visit.

Tern Veterinary Group is proud to offer a range of facilities to make your visit as convenient and stress-free as possible. We have ample parking space available for clients, and our practice is open on weekends to better accommodate your schedule.
