Welcome to The Dam Veterinary Centre, a trusted veterinary practice located in Selby, North Yorkshire, England. The highly-professional team of vets and nurses at our centre are dedicated to ensuring that your pets receive the best possible care and attention.

Our practice is open six days a week and we have a team of incredibly talented veterinary surgeons and nurses on hand to provide exceptional care. Our opening hours are designed to suit your busy schedules as we are open from 8:30 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 12 pm on Saturdays, and closed on Sundays.

Our team of veterinary surgeons comprises of Miss Stephanie Hill, Dr Lauren Holmes, and Dr Lucy Irvine. The team has dedicated their careers to taking care of small animals and receive regular training to keep abreast of the latest treatment options. At our practice, we believe in preventative medicine, and we encourage pet owners to bring their pets for check-ups regularly.

We also have a team of Veterinary Nurses led by Mrs Jodie Elsworth, our Head Nurse. Mrs Elsworth is a highly-trained nurse with a passion for animal care and an extensive background in veterinary nursing. Our nurses can provide a range of services, including animal behavioural consultations, weight checks, microchipping, and much more.

At The Dam Veterinary Centre, we cater to several species of pets, including cats, dogs, and small mammals. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technologies that allow us to perform in-house blood work, x-rays, and ultrasound tests. We have invested in the latest medical equipment to ensure that we provide the highest level of care and treatment for your pets.

We understand that emergencies happen, and you may need us to be available outside of normal business hours. That’s why we are pleased to offer extended hours during weekends. Our facilities are open during weekends, so rest assured that even during emergencies; you can count on us to be there for your furry friends.
