The Grove Veterinary Practice

Quite simply, there is no better than this practice. Greg and his team are the undisputed best there is. I can unreservedly say this as all my pets have been under their care for decades. Even when I lived away from the area, at one point in a different country I received the most attentive, fantastic care. I now travel 200 miles in order to stay in the practice! If you really love your pets this is the only option for you!

Can’t recommend grove vets enough - our previous cat was cared for at grove who saved her life and she went on to live many more years thanks to their interventions, giving us a wonderful 15 years in total with our baby that we otherwise wouldn’t have had. We’ve now adopted a cat 7 years later that has turned out to be more complex than anticipated and they have been fantastic all over again in getting us seen and figuring out our new family member so that we can love her for as long as possible. Appointments always available in good time, friendly and knowledgeable staff that are always welcoming, happy to answer any questions we have no matter how trivial. Thank you to all of the staff at grove - from Greg all the way through to the reception staff - for your exceptional care and love for animals, and your work with second chance rescue 🐾💚

Absolutely fantastic first visit here, so glad I registered! In what I thought was an emergency situation, I left feeling reassured and at ease. The nurse that saw my dog was incredible and so patient with him being a little anxious. Prices were far better than expected and extremely fair. Would 100000% recommend to anyone looking for a vets in and around Portsmouth.

Always queues, always have to wait. What is the point to have an appointment if they call u more than 40 minutes later. They always try to sell u unnecessary procedures, and u never know the price until u must pay. 0/10

Hidden prices, they don't have a prices list on their website or in their practice. I didn't know that the first check was so expensive until the end when they asked for money. First consult was only weight and listen the dog heart, but they do not tell before how much will be, even I visited them many times fir appointment.
