I had a bad experience with my 15 year old dog, I was told she needed to be spade as she had an infection in her uterus, I was dubious as I said isn't she too old. Anyway she had it done ,but sadly and very upsetting died at home the same evening. I did put in a complaint but was told it was done properly etc. personally I think the aftercare was really poor. She had to walk out of the vets a couple of hours later with great difficulty. The cost was £2670 which for a 3 hour stay and surgery is far too expensive. .

Vicki at Companion Care was absolutely amazing when my dog came in for his yearly jabs and check up. Vicki ensured my dog was comfortable with the room he was in before starting and she made sure he was comfortable at all times, explaining what she was doing. My dog has to have an operation, so I have made sure he is booked in with Vicki as I know he will be in very safe hands.

Companion Care were absolutely amazing when our dog Otis had a seed in his paw. From the first appointment to the operation day everyone showed care towards Otis and us. Otis is a very anxious dog and they all recognized this and responded to make the situation as stress free as possible. Robyn was exceptional in looking after Otis which put ours minds at ease. The update phone during the day was really appreciated as was the one the day after to check Otis was ok. Could not rate the service highly enough

As always when I take my bunnies in to Companion Care, Park Gate my boy was beautifully looked after. Vaccination administered as planned but also a quick check up when I mentioned that his eyes are still causing him issues and asked for advice about restarting the antibiotic eye drops. Advice received and he also had his eyes flushed to try to ensure that there's no blockage causing the infection. Wonderful service as always - thank you.

Lovely staff, all very caring and kind to the animals and the owners. It’s a big practice but it feels small and friendly. Recommend them unreservedly.
