My little dog had a growth on her eyelid. I was nervous about dropping her off. No need to worry staff was brilliant from the moment I went in, so I was happy to leave her and the same on collection explained everything they had done and so friendly and polite.

Saddest day of my life, saying farewell to my eldest pup, Max, yesterday. Was a horrid situation, but the PDSA staff were very accommodating and kind. They let us take our time and say our farewells without rushing us. I'm not sure I'll ever get over, Max, but im grateful for the PDSA team for helping to calm what was a heartbreaking day. Thank you for helping Max over the years. X

Had to have my baby girl put to sleep yesterday and I have to say that the staff were absolutely fantastic. From the 1st visit back in May to yesterday they have been the most caring and empathetic and loveliest of people especially Bridget who was with us at the end. My beautiful Frenchie went to sleep in my arms and this wonderful lady made it just that little bit easier if that was possible. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️

Twice now the PDSA have let me and my family down. First was a year ago when I phoned as my 6 month old puppy had collapsed and was floppy. Insisted I register and have a video consultation with an online vet to see if she needed to be seen (it was obvious that she did). Took 30mins to register and hear back from the online vet only for them to say she needed to be seen immediately. Phoned back on the promise that someone would be "waiting for the phone call so she could be brought in asap" was on hold for 25mins before being cut off. Phoned another vet in desperate need of her being seen, but by the time I got on the phone to them she died in my arms. My little girl was beyond devestated and I was so so angry that PDSA had let us down so badly. Phoned again this evening, with concern for my 5yr old Maltese as she is not herself and shaking a lot yelping when she is picked up. Told by the woman on the phone that i'm no longer registered as they haven't seen my documents since 2017 (balls as I sent them when my puppy was ill last year) so my registration has expired and they are not accepting new registrations so can't see her. I asked if she could be seen under my partner who is also registered with them and they said "well if you split up the dog will be with you so we can't put her under his name". So refused to see my dog, no other vet offers their services (i'm disabled and on universal credit so cannot afford vet prices of £300+, my dog acts as a support dog for my little girl who has autism and helps her a lot) so I have to basically hope that she doesn't get more sick in the night as it will devestate us all if something happens to her, plus add on that I feel extremely guilty that I can't afford £300+ to have her seen by a private vet. PDSA don't care about your pets, they only care about money to line the big bosses' pockets upstairs! 10 years as a registered patient with them doesn't hold much worth either. Totally disgusted. Wouldn't do it if it were a child!

I don't usually leave reviews but i felt compelled to write this one. Our beautiful fur baby went for her forever sleep this morning and i am so thankful to the lovely staff including the receptionist who made such a difficult time so much more easier. We are so lucky to have this service available and we honestly cant thank you all enough.
