I have used these vets for a number of years, but most recently my horse had around 8 inches of skin on his abdomen that needed stitching back up, plus a hole in his stifle. For being 24 years old this was extremely concerning and Wensum were completely supportive, friendly and realistic throughout the entire process. The cut was stitched back up, to an excellent but no need to be expensive or 'tidy' due to horses age, the dead skin was later removed and at all points were the vets exceptionally clever and professional - explaining thoroughly every single stage. Tim came out a number of times but was never aiming to get money (which is a common misconception on vets now) - it was all for horse welfare and I genuinely cannot fault him, nor the people that attended with him or Dave who I contacted with photos etc. I would genuinely recommend them to everyone and sing it from the hills. The recovery my 24 year old horse has made in 2 months has been astonishing and I continue to be amazed on a daily basis! My bill was also very reasonable considering the time and effort the team put in.

Absolute lifesavers! We had a horse that wouldn’t load at Holkham Beach, no matter what we tried, and I had to ring the vet at 8.20pm to ask if they could come to sedate her as we were over 2hrs away from home. Lauren has been an amazing help and got us safely back on the road in no-time, with my darling horse on the box, despite me obviously not being a client. I can’t thank Lauren and the team enough for helping us out!

Without the knowledge, dedication and sensitivity of Dave, Lauren and all at WVV, our gorgeous young donkey Harmony would not be here today. We really can't thank them enough.

I really cannot say thank you enough to Lauren and Poppy for looking after Chester. We still have a long road ahead, but I know everything possible will be done for him.

Wensum Valley vets are so friendly and helpful. Dave has been fantastic when treating my horse Hope over the last year for a damaged ligament. He has always explained the treatment clearly and is happy to answer any questions I have.
