Milo has been going to White Cross vets since he was a puppy, on a recommendation by a friend. As first time dog owners we have only ever had a positive experience. We receive a warm welcome from the moment we arrive and all the staff are always polite friendly and helpful, either over the telephone or in person. Everything is explained to us in a way that’s easy to understand and we pay into the monthly pet plan which represents excellent value for money. We would have no hesitation recommending White Cross vets to family and friends. Milo thinks they’re all pawsome 🐾🐾💙🐶

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the entire team at White Cross Vets Balby for the care they provided to my beloved cat, Rubby. These were the hardest days of my life, and they did absolutely everything they could — with empathy, calmness and true professionalism. Every conversation, every phone call, every examination was done with genuine compassion, as if Rubby were their own pet. I could see that they truly cared — not only about the medical treatment, but also about making sure we felt supported and understood. Although we were not able to save her in the end, I know she was in the best hands possible. Thank you for the respect, gentleness and humanity you showed at a moment when a person needs it the most. Thank you for allowing Rubby to leave this world surrounded by care and peace. This is a place where people work out of true vocation. I am grateful for everything you did for her — and for us.

Always a great experience, they deal with my dog in a professional manner. My dog is scared, so their professionalism means a lot.

We unfortunately had to take our cat to the vet for an emergency visit on the 23rd of December, 2025 and white cross vets balby was the only one of the three clinics I called that would take him for a last minute consultation and at a reasonable price too! Unfortunately, we had to put our cat to sleep and I could only thank all the staff who were all very friendly and especially Lizzie for doing all she could to save him and ease his pain. She was so compassionate, we truly felt her care for our boy who was our whole world. After he passed, they also gave us some of his fur and did some prints of his paws and nose which really warmed our hearts at a difficult time. I would bet my life on this vet clinic, I wish we had come across white cross vets sooner. Thank you for caring for Shoyu at a time he needed it most xx

Our dog Oliver, was referred to this practice by our vets in Sheffield, for a mast cell tumour removal. The operational went well and everyone we came across was lovely. I didn't get the chance to highlight it at the time, but I just wanted to give a special shout out to the reception team (especially Johnathan), who handled the referral and our insurance claim quickly and efficiently, demonstrated some great problem solving skills, and explained exactly what we should expect on the day of the operation over the phone. You made the entire thing much easier for us and put our minds at ease during a stressful time.

Excellent service and value for money. My dog is a large dog who will get aggressive with any dog that comes close. The vet handled my needs professionally and effectively. The visit was no stress on me or my dog Loki. Much better than any other vet I have used for price and service...by a massive margin as well.
