Friendly staff. No idea of cost comparison as I have a puppy who's vet bills are paid for.

This is the best vet ever! We have been coming to willows for around 20 years and they have always been fantastic with all of our dogs over the years. They always put us at ease when we are worried. We have had to take our dog today and were very concerned and the whole staff were absolutely brilliant. Thank you to you all for your support over the years and for the future. Thanks again ❤️

They have always been very friendly and kind to all of my pets from the reception staff to any of the vets I have seen.

This time last year my lovely cat Lilly's health was deteriorating. Thanks to the quick observations and actions of her dedicated Vet Ana, and the continued high standard of care and commitment to Lilly by Ana and her team, in particularly Iona Veterinary Nurse, her health has improved imeasurably. Thanks to individual, long term care planning and advice to myself, Lilly is approaching her 20th birthday. I cannot express my thanks adequately, for the extra time I have with Lilly and her quality of life. Well done everyone at Willows, what an outstanding team. Thank you x

A big thank you to the team at Willows in Boldon, for the continued very high standard of care they give to my cat Lilly and the kindness shown to myself. Everything is explained to me and I am made aware of all options available. I can highly recommend this excellent Surgery.

Hi all, I have just been into this vets practice, i didn't even know it was there, we found a very ill black kitten while we were at our allotment and were advised to take it to this vets as they are 'lovely' ,However, I will never ever take another animal to this practice. The receptionist was lovely and as soon as we explained the situation she went to get the vet, only to return a few seconds later saying were we willing to pay for the treatment, unfortunately we do not have the finances to do this, but a few seconds later a vet came out and ushered us into the room. She was a young lady and was extremely abrupt and very rude. I know this animal was a stray and very close to death, but I thought all vets have some kind of duty to care for all animals, I asked if it was a girl or boy, only to be shot down with that's not a priority, and to be honest it probably wasn't but there are ways to say this, we were then told thank you and then what I can only describe as dismissed. Maybe it would have been a very different experience if we said we would pay. I had to give it one star to allow me to post.
