This was our first time here after a couple of bad experiences at our previous vets. It was just a routine vaccination & check up appointment but my little cat gets very scared and hissy. The vet was very gentle, calm & caring with her. All the staff at the Tynemouth branch made it a much better experience than I'd anticipated

Took my Harry and Poppy, boarder collies, to get their nails clipped as they are very nervous and fight every time I try and do it myself, they are visiting from my mother's and Westway vets were very helpful and got them booked the same day. When we arrived the team were so kind and helpful, letting Harry play with the dog toys to calm him down and giving Poppy a safe space to acclimatise to the vet room. In no time at all they were both done and not stressed at all. Thank you to everyone at Westway to making my dogs time at the vets as stress free as possible.

Excellent service from the Howdon Branch. Always so friendly at reception and truly can see how much all of them adore animals. It’s always so clean and bright. Felt valued and the vet Marian was superb. Really thorough and so professional helped me understand everything patiently, and my dog loved her. Love this branch all of the vets are brilliant and the nurses they are fantastic. Just the best 10/10

I have nothing but praise for all the staff whom work at the Howden branch. They are always really friendly, helpful and polite. Service provided is always exemplary from vets, nurses and admin. Treatment reminders are great for keeping me on track and the twice yearly health and vaccination visits really aid in ensuring my pets stay safe and well. Am really greatful for the care and respect both myself and my pets continually recieve and am very proud to be a member of their surgery. Miss V Curtis.

We were very nervous about taking Maui for his 6 month health check up as he is very unpredictable and does not like strangers. The staff were so patient with him and reassuring that by the end of our visit Maui was showing them all his tricks and received a-lot of treats from them! My husband was walking Maui yesterday past the vets and he actually stopped to look inside! Obviously knows where the good treats are at!

Had my 2 crazy dogs and 1 chill cat there today, just joined. The staff there were just so lovely. Making a fuss of the animals (even though one is so hyper) prices were brilliant and I've signed up for the pet plan too. Can't recommend them enough. I was with Vets4pets and was not happy with the way they interacted with me and my animals We seemed like a transaction. But at Westway everyone was chatty and just amazing! Thank you so much:)

I just want to say thank you so much to Catrina, Mandy & Lindsey for all their help the last few months with our dog Meg, you have given us as much help as we could possibly need having an extra 4 months with Meg after she fell ill at the start of the year, after finding out she had pancreatitis we gave her everything we could and she thrived for months, it gave us great comfort to see her loving her food, her walks, her happiness but sadly it started again & it was just too much for her being 16 and half years old. Catarina wasted no time in sending us over to the west road for her bloods & scan, we could not have been more supported. She had a great life like her sister Penny, they had holidays & the-most love a dog could ever ask for, we both worked from home so they were always with us, sadly when Penny passed Meg lost a bit of her spark and it was sad to see her miss her big sister so much, but we believe they’re back together again. We can’t repay them for what they have given us in life & what we have gone through they have given us a reason to carry on. Your integrity, dedication & kindness helped us so much & we are very grateful. Lucy & Guy
