I would give 10 stars if I could. Me and my family have used this practice for a very long time with multiple pets and everytime they are so attentive and caring and truly understand what our pets mean to us. I lost my best mate my staffy Alfie last March and they were there from him being a puppy to his last day and they really looked after him. When he was a puppy due to a skin condition he was there every Friday and he loved everyone at the practice they really treat your pet like they are their own. Fast forward a year and we now have a kitten called Minnie who is the newest addition to the family and has already been for her initial checkups. I honestly cant recommend this place enough to anyone who is looking for a vet practice this is the practice to use. Refreshing to see such a great team that actually value your pets wellbeing and are not just after money. Lastly a special thank you to Lesley and Debbie for being lovely, supportive and caring people. We really appreciate you.

It is a few weeks now since our Milli had 10 teeth out at Westway At Tynemouth. The staff Joe the vet, Stacey the nurse and Lesley the receptionist are simply amazing and work so well together, keeping me informed of how Milli was progressing during and after dental procedure. I would not hesitate to recommend Tynemouth Westways ☆☆☆☆☆

We needed an emergency appointment when on holiday and reception were very proactive with requesting our dogs history from our registered vets in advance of our arrival. The vet was lovely and very helpful in a stressful situation whilst away from home. Thank you for a professional and prompt action in our hour of need

Took my dog Lola there for her booster injection. Lola was a bit nervous when we first went into the reception area, the staff were all lovely and after a little persuasion and a few treats, Lola settled and relaxed, and did not flinch at all when she was given the injection. Many thanks for letting her settle at her own pace. Definitely recommend this practice

All the staff are so warm and welcoming and cannot do enough to help you. Lesley especially is so kind and helped me carry may cats into the surgery and back out to the taxi as I am disabled. She went above and beyond. And even better I’ve been given 4 weeks free insurance for my cats each time I’ve visited which is great considering how much you spend at the vets it’s nice to have almost like a small guarantee

I’ve been using Westway at Tynemouth for the last 7 years for my cats and more recently for my puppy. Every vet we have met has been so knowledgeable and caring towards my pets. The receptionists are always super friendly both to me and my animals, always making a fuss. I like how you can book appointments easily online and if I’ve ever had to call up it’s never been a bother. I’m really grateful we chose Westway.
