I was with this vet for years while I was living in Newcastle until last year, and I honestly could not recommend them enough. Both of my cats had their vaccinations, neutering, and every health issue seen by this vet over the years, and the care was always amazing. One very cute moment I still remember was when my cat Pablo went back for his post-neutering check-up — the vet actually remembered him and kissed him on the head hahaha. That was around 1.5 years ago and it still sticks with me. I’ve moved out of Newcastle now, but I still think about all the lovely treatments and care we received from this FirstVets Billymill branch. Truly grateful for such kind and caring vets.

Brought my dog here in August as she had sore eyes paid £100 plus for a consultation and “full health check” the vet examined her and checked her eyes over explained she had eye infection and give us some eyedrops told to come back in 7 days time she said she was a lovely healthly fit dog with a strong heart beat maybe just needed some supplements of Amazon for arthritis went back in 7 days seen a different vet who then shaved her eyes and sent us on our way yet again another fee … fast forward to October and had to go to the PDSA out of hours on a Sunday and she is sadly dead due to being riddled in cancer had lost 4 stone in weight!!! Would not recommend this vets! PDSA was amazing lovely staff very clean would much rather give my money to them.

The staff here are amazing! Im so pleased we registered here. We have a nervous dog and they made sure to book the last appointment of the day, they let him wonder around freely they gave him treats and played with him. By the third visit he was so much more comfortable and relaxed. The staff genuinely care and put so much effort into what they do and it makes all the difference, im so grateful. They have turned a nerve racking experience into a really nice one. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone.
