Took Eric my French bulldog in that completely freaks out when his nails required cutting. The vet and veterinary nurse were Amazing. I thought they had no chance but they had him in and out in 5 minutes all done shows how experienced and professional they are. ERIC screams just looking at his nails 💅 the vet and nurse cut his nails like it was just another over dramatic French.. which he is.Also the reception girls were helpful professional and understanding thanks.

My dog went in for a biopsy on a lump in his mouth. They said it was benign. Few months on he’s been put to sleep as it was malignant.

The service and care my cat received was second to none. The team treated my spicy little baby so well and knew exactly how to handle her, which immediately put me at ease. They were incredibly thorough and left no stone unturned throughout her treatment. I also want to give a special shout out to Kirsten & Nair for taking the time to walk me through the whole process. They provided detailed updates in a way that was easy to understand and made sure I felt reassured every step of the way. Their kindness and patience made such a stressful situation so much easier. Coco is now back home recovering well, and I’m so grateful for the amazing care she received.

Our male dog had her vaccines at that vets and is due his booster apparently even tho we been told last time he wasn't due in a long timewhen we booked our female in for her booster we had our other dog in for her booster yesterday and been told that our other dog is due his and now we have to start all over again with the vaccines because we missed the window what on earth Second they even told us they didn't have anything in the system of our dog getten vaccines there even tho thats the only vet hes registered. So now they don't even have anything in the system im not sure that is legal. They give injection to dogs but they dont have that in the system for medical records of what they are using. I find it odd. We then asked to get his monthly flea and wormer and we pay for that every month have a yearly subscription they can se in their system then to be told we dont give anything because we need the papers for the dog. But yet they just had our other dog in whitout needed to show any papers. To get her booster and her flea and wormer My husband then ask to cancel the subscription hes told no problem he just have to pay £50 he walked out and told me to go in because he have hearing aids and he felt ganged up on by them in the vets. So i went in asked if she could repeat what she had said to my husband she said shes not going to repeat herself how on eart is it she speaks to people that Horrible disrespectful receptionist then said I want to cancel the plan because we are going elsewhere with our dogs since this is not a trusted/ safe place for our dogs anymore she said she didn't have authority to do that. Well hang on a min i said you just told my husband no problem to cancel the subscription I then told her that she just told my husband there was no problem at all doing just that and now she are sitting there with your blonde new hair and lying me straight to my face I then asked for her manager and the owner of the shop where she told me that she would call the police on me i told her you can just call them I haven't done anything wrong im not the one lying to people who put there trust in you with their beloved animals and then you have the audacity to lie to peoples faces and be cheeky about it i wouldn't even give this place 1 star

I have used Vets4pets over 10 years ,the new franchise owner has no empathy for older pets ,they just say they are old and say they need to be put to sleep,I luckily ignored them and had another 13 months of love and fun from my old staffy Finn

Took my cat to vets for pets at nook South Shields on Wednesday 26 November 2026 for a second opinion as my cat was having breathing problems took to vets they said before I could have an appointment they needed the stuff from previous vets so any way the vets at nook were got a quote of £611 which I told him I couldn’t afford that day so any way I didn’t look like the we’re going to release the cat any way my boyfriend turned up and he was expected to pay so my cat had X-ray done he come for me to ask if I want to look a x ray which I did the cat had fluid around the lungs I did ask for medication as my previous vet was giving injections and the cat was responding off then the vet refused medication anyway I told them to drain fluid from the cat next minute he comes out with a syringe full off blood and said the cat need to be put to sleep so now I got no cat my child is heart broken the vet at nook refused medication it was responding to I would not recommend now these are saying something else different that I did not get notified about and I am going higher

I wouldn’t come back here after the issues I’ve had. A nurse who is super insensitive about a passing of an animal. Manager who said she sort it and forgot to close the message down which resulted in further trauma from the message system. I’ve moved all my animals from here and to the one inside pets at home because of the sheer trauma and emotionless staff ( not all of them but the one I experienced has no emotions or understand how sensitive things are and sheer lack of empathy )

Only used these as my dog needed his second vaccination by today and they could fit him in. Still very expensive but the receptionists were very welcoming and friendly. The vet was very pleasant and knowledgeable and delivered the jab as one would expect. They all loved my new puppy, as everyone who meets him does.
