The Animal Health Centre assisted us when we were facing a difficult time, looking after our beloved cat, Socks, as he approached the end of his life. Staff couldn't have been more empathetic, caring, kind, and professional. They went far beyond their responsibilities to ensure we had the support we needed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anybody who needs help caring for their pets.

Had the best experience with the most loveliest of staff! I called for my dog, Winston to be seen and I was given an appointment with a nurse for the next day. I went for my appointment to be greeted by 3 members of staff. Unfortunately my appointment hadn’t been booked in but Samuel the head nurse agreed to see my dog and help. They bandaged him up and brought him back out. Gave me all the necessary tips on how to help with his bandage and what to look out for and to come back in if there were any issues. My dog was then given the pleasure of being weighed and was informed of the work Samuel does with helping pets with their weight. I had the best experience and it was lovely and casual, granted my situation wasn’t very dire! But thank you!

A brilliant vet practice ! Shortly after moving to Bristol my dog had an accident and was bleeding quite badly, I rang several vets who all refused to to see her but when I got through toThe Animal Health Centre they agreed to see her immediately and were amazing . Needless to say we registered and have had first class service since - all the vets , nurses and receptionists have been great and it is always obvious that animal welfare is their top priority not financial gain - for example they will even give out a prescription rather than dispense medication if you can source it cheaper on the internet . Another great experience yesterday for a “ same day” appointment - thank you to the two kind and efficient nurses we saw .

We love this vet and it’s so convenient to our house. Our dog is probably one of the small minority who love the vet- as soon as we turn onto Gloucester, he’s pulling my arm out of its socket to get to the vet, so if that doesn’t tell you they’re good, I don’t know what will…
