All the staff at Petwell House are kind, patient and professional. They take the time to listen to concerns and offer great advice. Our kitten Buddy has had all his relevant check-ups and injections here and recently been micro chipped and a procedure performed at Petwell House. We signed up with their health care plan which provides discounts therefore saving money. Would recommend Petwell House to look after your beloved pet like their own.

I was very well looked after at petwell house. From the moment we walked into reception we got great service and even later in the day reception called to give me feedback on my dog, she was amazing. Very heartwarming. The vet was just the best. First time meeting our vet and she was simply amazing. Very friendly and approachable and kind towards pets. Was very well looked after. Thank you

My cat was very poorly and he had to have immediate intervention. I was spoken to at every stage of his treatment and he was made comfortable so I could take him home for the night. I took him back next day for a procedure, but he had a less invasive treatment and a more detailed diagnosis..... prices were transparent and they looked after him really well. He is now recovering at home and I am indebted for their professional approach to my cats needs....thank you

I have used this vets for the last 4 years. As always the services are good and efficient. I recently had to have my beloved dog put to sleep. The whole process was done with care and compassion. Petwell vets and the staff made a very sad situation manageable, even taking paws prints that I will treasure. I already had great faith in their service. However, the care that was shown to me on that day will be remembered. I have a new pet and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Thank you.

I love this vets. Its a shame you can't do a direct claim anymore especially with cost of living I now just have to hope my insurance will pay me. The vet responded to my email really quickly and with a lot of detail.

My very first time visiting Petwell House Vets and I must confess, I was positively impressed. Dr Thomas explained the whole neutering procedure of our Ko-Ko, the after care necessities too. Most importantly the whole thing cost me only £107! (The missus gave me £160 based on our online research for average London cost of cat Spaying...I lost the receipt🫣...Weekend pub visit sorted😜. Hey, don't blame me, times are hard!) Shout out to Zoe and Emily for sourcing the right sized after surgery dress for Koko too.

Petwell House Vet Hayes is a good vet who pay attention to detail when I bring my dog in. They do their best to keep us updated on all treatments needed but I sometimes feel they schedule vaccinations which may not actually be necessary or needed at the time. I must say, the process checking in at the reception could be better for example - actually acknowledging when I walk into the vet with my dog. It’s basic manners and skills a front desk receptionist should have. I have also had Something they can really work on is having a VISIBLE price list where all clients can see the price for each treatment or jab. That would be very helpful to avoid any discrepancies when being charged for a service. My dog had to have an emergency surgery for a broken claw and the whole process cost £350. Part of this cost was £27 to cut one claw which is absolutely ridiculous and another being £35 for a small bandage which came off before we even left the vet. I cannot comprehend that at all. This was back when David Mwangi was still the Veterinarian but hopefully things have changed. I’ve been charged £75 for a vaccination before and £50 for another so I believe this price list would really help! The new Veterinarian who you can see in the pictures is definitely the best! She is so lovely and my dog has warmed up to her the most! 🥰 let’s see how future days at Petwell House Vets will be!

I want to share my personal experience in case it helps someone else. I had been taking my dog to this practice for a while, trusting that we were moving toward a clear diagnosis. Over multiple visits, I personally felt there wasn’t much transparency about the costs or the overall plan. Each appointment seemed to involve additional tests, which were quite expensive compared to what I later paid elsewhere, and I often left without a clearer understanding of what was going on. What is especially painful for me is that I would have spent anything necessary to help my dog or ease her pain. I genuinely believed the situation wasn’t serious because that was the impression I left with after our visits. In hindsight, I wish I had known more or pushed for a second opinion sooner. Eventually, I took her to another vet, and based on my experience there, they reached a diagnosis very quickly. Unfortunately, I learned she had a tumor on her liver, and there was nothing more that could be done. The tests at the second clinic were all completed in one day and cost significantly less than what I had spent before. Looking back, I regret not seeking another opinion earlier. I personally did not feel the approach at this practice worked for my dog, and my experience there left me feeling confused and unprepared for what was actually happening. Because of this, I don’t feel confident recommending this clinic based on my own experience.
