  I cant rate Avonvale vets highly enough-they look after both our dogs and everyone is friendly, highly efficient and I have full faith in everyone that works there. They went above and beyond when one of my dogs had a serious accident and having sat in the waiting room every 2 or 3 days for the last 6 weeks I appreciate how hard they all work. Thank you all very much.

  Thank you so, so much to all the staff at Avonvale for looking after our beautiful greyhound Penny for an emergency illness recently. Everyone was so kind and showed so much concern, with regular updates and patience to explain everything that was happening at a very scary time for us. Big shout out to group nursing manager Anna for all her calmness and care for Penny and making sure she came back to us healthy and well - we are so grateful to have her home with us eating snacks on the sofa again!

  I wanted to leave a review to thank everyone at AvonVale Vets for taking such amazing care of my kitten, Simba, today. He was being neutered at just 4 months old and I was extremely anxious and quite visibly upset about leaving him. From the moment we arrived, the vet was so kind, patient and reassuring. She talked me through everything clearly, put my mind at ease, and made me feel completely confident that he was in the best hands. The procedure was done so quickly and I was called as soon as it was over, which meant so much to me. A really special touch was that she even took a photo of Simba in his little kennel with the T-shirt I’d given him for comfort and showed me — that alone meant the world. I genuinely couldn’t have wished for a better experience. The care, compassion and communication were second to none and I’m so grateful to everyone who looked after Simba today. I couldn’t fault the service at all — thank you so much. He’s so snoozy now!

  Avonvale vets treated my do after my dog got into a fight with a Squirrel and was covered in blood. Rang the practice was seen straight away now the dog is fine. I would recommend Avonvale vets to all pet lovers!!

  My dog is a new patient at the surgery. The experience from call to treatment made me and my pet relax. I felt informed and confident in the vet. He was wagging his tail when normally he tries to escape from the vet.

  My two Borders are always treated with care and friendliness. They are fussed and made to feel important. The vet always answers any queries and will let me know how much options cost,and so I can make decisions without worrying .

  I have been with avonvale for 20 years and always found Very helpful, friendly staff and the vet was easy to talk to and listened to my concerns and needs.
