I just wanted to say a massive/hugest thank you to Rachelle who looked after Poppy and Posie today. I have never felt so at ease and that our buns were more cared for than they were with Rachelle. The room was laid out perfectly. Rachelle had taken the time to prepare for the girls, knowing there were nervous bunnies, everything was set up on the floor for them ready. She was calm with them, really listened when my daughter was talking about them, answering all the questions and advice we needed for reassurance etc. She gave the girls time to settle in the space and be less stressed. She knew about bunnies as she had them herself which was so reassuring as a new bunny owner (I know it’s been almost a year but still feels so new)! It really was the best experience we’ve ever had with our bunnies and it meant so so much!! Thank you!!!

I have recently taken my budgie to Birch Heath Vets to see Dr Jack. The service is brilliant from calling reception staff, to the compassion & care received by the vet & nurses. It's so hard to find avian vets & it's around a 2hr round trip to Tarporley, but I wouldn't go anywhere else! It's so important to see an avian/exotic Vet specialist for a budgie, they are so knowledgeable & professional. There is so much compassion & clear care for the animals seen at Birch Heath, I really can't thank them enough & fully recommend. Thank you to all the team. X

We use Birch Heath Vets for our rescue flock of budgies at Budgie Rescue Wirral. Staff are very compassionate, helpful & welcoming. We have mostly seen vet Dr Jack; he has been wonderful treating our poorly birds & giving general advice. Their level of care, professionalism & compassion goes above & beyond. Reception staff are very helpful & caring from the moment you call or arrive, nothing is too much trouble. We travel around 1hr each way to get to Birch Heath because avian vets are so hard to come by! They are obviously worth the trip & we wouldn't go anywhere else. Many other vet practices don't understand domestic birds & we urge anyone with an exotic pet to carefully consider where they seek medical treatment for their pets if they want to give them the best chance. We'd fully recommend their avian services! Thank you to all the team of vet staff, nurses, & reception staff at Birch Heath Vets!

Always looked after our Whippet so well at this vets. In particular, Amber Summers the vet nurse is so good at explaining everything and making sure our dog is well looked after. I would recommend anyone taking their pet to see her. Thank you!

Thank you to all the lovely ladies who cared for "Freddie" our fluffy bunny who became Mr Fred the name given to him by Leanne. Unfortunately the heart breaking time came when we had to say goodbye to Mr Fred, the emotional support we received was priceless. We cannot thank the team enough. We collected Mr Fred's ashes yesterday, he is now home where we remember him fondly every single day. Thanks again Birch Heath ladies 💕

I can’t thank the team here enough for the incredible care and compassion they’ve shown both me and my bearded dragon, Maya. Over the course of many vet visits and even surgery, they were consistently supportive and professional. Sadly, on Thursday, 17th April, I had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to Maya due to cancer. I’d like to give a special thank you to Suzetta, whose kindness and dedication stood out throughout our journey. She showed genuine care not only for Maya but also for me as a pet owner. Suzetta is a true asset to the practice, and I’ll always be grateful for her support. Wishing Suzetta and the rest of the team all the best in the future—thank you for everything.
