Quite shocked with our issue and the response from this vet. We keep ducks as pets one was attacked by a hawk as a duckling and had her air sacks punctured. We worked hard and paid a lot to care for her. 10 months on it looks like she needs another course of antibiotics as she has some swelling. Although we understand Jack left all we needed was more antibiotics and they have said go elsewhere up to 3 hours in a cage with her to seek care. As she is one of your patients there should be a duty of care it’s the same antibiotics she had last time not a new issue. At a loss really as we have been with Eagle Vets for over 15 years, it’s a struggle to get a duck seen locally as to many people it’s seen as food but the core value of vets is and should be not to prolong any suffering of any animal regardless of whether they have flippers or paws.

I've used the vet over many years all with different animals and over the years the vet been helpful to help me with trying to keep the cost and help with the animals, Don't be afraid to ask questions and tell them if you on low income.

I love Thanet vets . I would never go anywhere else. I’ve been a client of this for 10 years and I’ve always had a great experience. The staff are extremely helpful and every vet I have had has been very informative and knowledgeable.
