Was given a prompt appointment for the following morning. On arrival, receptionist was professional and friendly. Vet I saw was very thorough, informative and easy to talk to. Conversation was broader than specific issue and options clearly explained. Very happy with consult.

Best vets in Thanet in my opinion, yes they extremely busy/run late/sometimes hard to get appointment but think this kinda speaks for itself the love and care they and how hard they work I moved my cat here after an awful experience at pets at home with my cat who then became very scared/would shake/sweat and get worked up on taking her since moving here on 1st appointment my cat was rightfully terrified but can not fault lovely nurse and since returning been lucky enough to have same nurse unfortunately don’t know her name but lovely lady with German accent my cat has really taken to her and vet trips are now a lot easier/calmer for my cat. Talked though every process/and I know my cat is treated/handled with care

The teams willingness to help my dog with her fees of vets is exemplary. They allow her to visit and smell all the rooms multiple times a week and still administer treatment in the car if needed! Highly recommend!

Yesterday we had the most difficult day of having our little girl Millie put to sleep. She was under the care of Layla and I have to say how fantastic she was. The compassion and kindness that she showed us was incredible. The way she treated Millie right up until the point of her passing was amazing. It is a heartbreaking situation to make that decision, but it was done in such a thoughtful, respectful and caring way. I will never forget how wonderful Layla was with Millie and the kindness she showed her. Big thank you to the receptionist as well, who was also extremely kind and compassionate.

I am especially grateful to doctor Anita Goddard who is exceptionally professional and found a cause of my cats pain. She was so helpful and attentive. My cat already feels better and I will be forever grateful for her care, advice in all regards. Truly the best vet I have ever come across. THANK YOU! ❤️

All of the staff are always so friendly and good with my Labrador who is very nervous at the vets. They make every effort to put him, and me, at ease, and get him in and out as quickly as possible to reduce his anxiety.

Wish I'd thought about writing a review sooner. A number of years ago we took our cat for an emergency minor operation early one morning, this required an anaesthetic. Upon leaving our cat could hardly use his hind legs (in no way related to the emergency operation). With him wobbling around we were told it was just the anaesthetic. However, months went by with no improvement at all. We contested it with the vet but were basically laughed out of the building by admitting no wrong doing whatsoever. It would have been our word against theirs and they knew it. Our poor cat suffered for many years, wobbling about with hardly any control of his back legs. This was essentially the death of him with us needing to have him put to sleep through severe deterioration as he aged.

My dog got a fish hook wedged in her mouth which was very disturbing for her (and me). When I called we were told to come straight in. When we arrived she was seen straight away and then treatment, costs etc were all communicated to me really clearly. All staff, vet, reception, nurses were all really friendly, efficient and reassuring. Such a relief in a stressful situation.

Initially I was a fan of this veterinary practice but not since taking my cat there who had been displaying uncharacteristic behaviour. Straight of, Thanet Vets is more expensive than Whitstable Bay Vets. I had taken my 15 year old cat in after he had been turning in circles, wobbly and being very friendly (which was not him!) the vet that had just returned from maternity told us to enjoy the new behaviour before asking for a second opinion regarding his eyes, they then said he had glaucoma and gave us eye drops, as we left, I turned to my sister and said we will get a second opinion because when I mentioned a possible stroke, this was shut down, we then got a second opinion at Whitstable bay where they said there wasn’t any glaucoma and then observed him pressing his head, he was put to sleep that evening. Disappointing considering the money paid and for potentially allowing an animal to suffer with improper treatment.

First class! We have been coming here for nearly 5 years and would not consider going elsewhere. We always come away feeling assured and confident of the care and advice provided. All of the staff are excellent and a they do not push or suggest treatment for the sake of it. Communication is always spot on and they are always easy to get hold of by telephone or email. Special mention to vet, Antonia, who is fantastic in every respect! Bluebell sends her love and thanks ❤️🐾
