I just want to say a huge thank you to Blake’s Veterinary Surgery in Bridgwater, especially to the lovely vet Holly. After my spinal surgery, I was really worried about taking Harley for his booster jabs, since I couldn’t risk him pulling on the lead. I called ahead, and they were so kind—they adapted their practice to help. Holly came out, took Harley from the car, and brought him safely in and out. The care they take with Harley is always wonderful, but this time, the support they gave me as a customer was above and beyond. I’m so grateful for their personal, thoughtful approach—they made a difficult situation so much easier. I can’t thank them enough!

Stacey (the vet) is amazing. Very sensible with regards to our 14yr dog. Giving us options and the best way to keep her happy and pain free in her olds age. Would highly recommend Stacey.

Absolutely outstanding vets, could not recommend enough. They go above and beyond for your pet and you can see that they genuinely do care about your pets. They treat them exactly how you treat them. Super impressed by the service that I have received from them. You can very much tell that they aren’t about just taking your money, they want the best and do care. I moved from my previous vets to Blake due to recommendation. Word of mouth certainly goes along way, and Blake vets really do deserve the recognition for their outstanding service and care. My dog means the world too me, basically my child and they treated him amazingly. Even from the pet plan that they offer, which I have recently signed up too because it was just too good not too. You can tell all they want to do is help and care for animals as well as making it affordable. Highly recommended.

£41.50 for eye drops you can buy over the counter for under a tenner, plus £5 for an additional eye dye during the examination that didn’t even make it into the dog’s eye. And because it’s your pet — your little furry family member — you’re basically held hostage by guilt. You can’t say no, you can’t shop around, you can’t delay it. They know you’ll pay it because you care.

We were very happy with the practice cleanliness, also the waiting area is divided into two areas so cats and have a separate area to dogs. The staff are very nice and welcoming, very helpful and informative. The vets we saw are very good and the information was explained very well. All in all very happy with our experience and would definitely recommend.

Highly recommend Blake vets at the showground Bridgwater. The staff are always friendly and helpful with any queries. I have seen a couple of vets now with miss Dorothy and they have been professional, helpful, informative and shown nothing but care for our little girl, who was a little poorly when we 1st had her. Dottie is now thriving thanks to all the advice that we were given.
