Just moved our much loved fur babies to this practice. First appointment for their vaccines and health check was excellent, large car park, easy access, and a very warm welcome. A fuss was made over the dogs by the reception team and the vet.Would recommend x

Booked our older cat in for annual booster, nurse/vet who carried out the consultation was first class and she’s only just graduated she will make a first class vet. I must say how welcoming Sally was on reception following her chat and full explanation of there new cat care plan I didn’t hesitate to to sign up for the cover, many won’t cover her especially with pre existing arthritis, she’s now going to have a wellbeing check and get her nails clipped. Thank you all staff especially those mentioned.

Brilliant staff, very friendly and welcoming to both owner and our dog. Never rushed during the appointment and always listening attentively to what we have to say. We cannot get over the fact that our dog actually runs into the practice which tells us a lot about his experiences, while the nurses and vets are always willing to give him their attention before starting the appointment. A lovely calm environment which we would highly recommend.

I recently visited Bridge Vets and had a really positive experience from start to finish. The team were incredibly welcoming and made both me and my boy, Goku, feel at ease straight away. The staff were professional, kind, and clearly very knowledgeable, taking the time to explain everything thoroughly and answer any questions I had. The level of care and attention they showed to Goku was outstanding, and it was reassuring to see how genuinely compassionate they are towards the animals they treat. They handled him with such patience and kindness, which really put us at ease throughout the visit. The facilities were clean and well-organised, which also added to the overall confidence in their service. A special mention to the receptionist, who was incredibly helpful in explaining the cost of the treatment. They took the time to go through everything clearly, and the discounts and payment plans offered were fantastic and made the whole process much less stressful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bridge Vets to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring veterinary practice. Thank you to the whole team for taking such great care of Goku!

Thank you to Bridge Vets, especially Magda and Isabelle, for the compassion they showed when my beloved cat, Ariel, was put to sleep. During an incredibly difficult time, they were patient and deeply understanding. Their kindness made an unbearable moment feel supported and dignified and receiving a card afterwards was such a thoughtful gesture. I will always be grateful for the empathy shown to Ariel and me, thank you.

Last november 2025 our barney who was a very much wanted dog was 15 and had to be put to sleep us as a family were distraught and totally heartbroken 💔 he had ulcers in both eyes and was on the verge of rupturing we didn't have a choice all the staff was so professional especially louise who undertook the procedure also every member of staff was so empathetic we now have another dog which I hadn't anticipated and took her for a check up in brynmawr practice which isn't far from me and it was so lovely to see the staff again after it's closure for a while

Bridge vets in Pontllanfraith are fantastic, my dog has been very poorly these last 6 months and unfortunately it was her time to shine last week. The care and compassion the whole team have shown, has been outstanding. Special mention to receptionist Sally, who always takes the time to listen to your concerns and gets you seen quickly. Keep doing what you do xxx
