I accidentally left a ‘one star review’. Well this practice deserves 6. I arrived in a very anxious state because of something relating to my adopted (Greek) dog. I went home reassured and relaxed and my dog has been so well looked after with condition existing when she came to me. Of course I want the best for my dog, but we humans do worry. If you want the best for YOU and your dog, this is the place.

On our last visit to Chalklands we got an appointment quickly and saw Charlotte & Emma for an illness, which was thoroughly discussed with me & made sure our dog was as relaxed as could be. Charlotte took plenty of time with us which was really appreciated, and very kindly followed up with messages on the pets app - so grateful for this. We would definitely recommend Chalklands after 4 successful operations plus other visits. Thank you for always looking after our baby girl 🐾

I cannot thank the team at Chalklands enough for the incredible care they have given to my dogs Alfie and Milo. From the moment I walked in, I felt we were supported and cared for. It’s clear they truly love animals here! Highly recommend!

Chalkland Vets have always been there for our furry family, and this time more than ever. We have the upmost trust in Philly and under her guidance, the time came to say goodbye to our precious nearly 14-year-old Labrador, Ralph. Philly showed incredible compassion and empathy, making an incredibly difficult time a little more bearable. Ralph was treated with the gentlest kindness and respect, and we felt completely supported every step of the way. The care, understanding, and patience shown by Philly made all the difference, and we will be forever grateful for the comfort and dignity she provided to Ralph - and to us. Truly a team that treats your pets like family. Thank you Chalkland.

Knowledgeable vet staff, friendly and very helpful. They genuinely seem to care about all animals not just the cats and dogs. So glad I moved vets now I can feel confident my rabbits are getting the best care 🙂

Wonderful vets practice, friendly professional staff, highly recommend. We recently used the Calne branch for one of our cats, Kim the veterinary nurse was lovely and took such good care of our kitten. We normally go to Chippenham and the staff there are also lovely.

So far a great experience with the vets! Our little Maggie hates being in the car, but is absolutely chill in the exam room. The vets have been lovely and gentle with her and quick to answer any of my messages in the app!

We have had nothing but positive experiences since registering our rescue dog Bella at Chalkland Vets earlier this year. Bella was incredibly anxious during her first visit but now she loves her visits as the team are so friendly and welcoming…..she also loves the treats! Bella recently underwent a laparoscopic spay and the care she received preoperatively and postoperatively was outstanding. We have another dog Frankie who we are currently fostering and she is also very anxious but we’ve been bringing her in intermittently to make her new experiences positive and the team have been brilliant in bringing her anxiety levels down during our visits. Thank you for everything, we really appreciate it 😁
