My GSD is very anxious and won't let anyone touch her, which isn't great, but my vet read all her notes, and allowed me to treat her under her supervision. It was SO relaxed! Super grateful that we were treat as individuals! Excellent service. Wonderful x

My parents my sister recommended Hale vets 10 years ago they have now all passed on and I know they used Hale vets Chippenham for many many years. Like them I find all staff and veterinarian very friendly and very compassionate when it came to end of life with our dogs. I had so much help and support with palliative care with my last little girl. I now have 2 new little dogs and made my first visit back yesterday. So I highly recommend Hale vets.

Saw Adam yesterday who is simply the best ever vet for quirky, ‘full-of-character’, ‘strong-personality’ small breed dogs! He has an excellent understanding of their behaviours and needs. Completely satisfied with his thorough health check, advice, and prescribed medications.

A really lovely and friendly team at Hale! No hesitation in recommending them, they've looked after my dogs for years, even at the end for 2 of them and they showed so much care and compassion. It was comforting to know they were in such good hands. They now have my new fur babies on their books to help me keep them in tip top health.

Had to take my dog to Hales vets in Chippenham for an out of hours emergency appointment. My dog was seen and medication was issued. The fee of the emergency appointment was given at £235 which I understood. Upon paying for the visit which was £259 (including medication) I told the vet that I would be looking to use my pet insurance to pay for it. Therefore I ask the vet if I can be invoiced so I could look at get the insurance to look into. However the vet told me that I would have to pay for the bill and the insurance company would reimburse me. I therefore paid the bill. At no point did the vet tell me that there would be an £18 admin fee for the clinic to release the notes to my insurance company. Move forward two days when I received a call from Hales Vets to state they had received communication from my insurance company about releasing the notes and that I would incur an admin charge of £18 to send them the notes. I was very surprised and annoyed by this as this wasn’t explained to me at the time when I was paying for it. I have used another practice and they didn’t charge an admin fee for the exact situation. With all the current news around Vet practices being transparent around prices, I was very shocked indeed. I have just had the invoice through to pay for the £18. The reason for this review is too make people aware of this hidden fee.
