"After my cat Tintin fell and fractured his back leg, we faced a devastating situation. His initial cast led to complications including skin necrosis and a serious infection, and I was told he might lose his leg. I was highly recommended to see Dr. Emma as I was told she had immense expereince as as vetrinary orthopaedic surgeon and immense experience with pets in general at Vets for Pets in CrossHands, and I cannot express how thankful I am that we did. From the moment we walked through the door, the entire team—the receptionist, veterinary nurses Leanne and Kim, and especially Dr. Emma—were warm, professional, experienced, and genuinely caring. Dr. Emma's orthopedic expertise and the team's treatment plan, including laser therapy and appropriate medication, not only saved Tintin's leg but has resulted in a remarkable recovery. I honestly don't know where we would be without them. They are without question the best vets I have worked with over the past twenty years, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you all for the wonderful team at Vets for Pets at Cross hands and especially Dr.Emma, nurses Rhian and Kim. we are every so grateful, Ameera and Tin-Tin -god bless you all."

Absolutely amazing vet! Emma and her team saved my baby boy, Lynx, from being put down where other vets said there was nothing else that could be done. Emma healed him back to health, with multiple surgeries and her team made me feel like family and gave me regular emails, photos, videos and updates. I was kept updated through every step of the way, as well as clearly advising me what was going to be done at every operation. I have absolutely no doubt that Lynx would not be here today without Emma's surgical hands and knowledge and I owe her so much for him being back to his happy self. I highly recommend her and her team for anything. Thankyou Emma! ❤️

Outstanding vets – by far the best we’ve experienced, and we’ve tried other practices in the area. The difference here is clear: the team are caring, professional, and genuinely compassionate with both pets and owners. They explain everything properly, never rush you, and you always feel your animals are in safe hands. The right questions and information will always lead to the best care. To fellow pet owners: keep your insurance active, and choose cover that pays per illness per year, not just per incident. Pets aren’t an obligation, but once you have them, they deserve the very best care – just like a car needs regular maintenance. We’ve seen first-hand how costly treatment can be, and we were lucky our insurance allowed our pet to receive gold-standard care when it mattered most. This practice sets the standard for both expertise and empathy. From the warm welcome at reception to the treatment in the consulting room, the service here is exceptional. I wouldn’t trust my pets with anyone else.

Vets4pets cross hands were able to fit my dog Sully in to be castrated when our local vets cancelled last minute. From the moment I spoke to them on the phone, they were absolutely amazing. The reception staff were SO friendly and helpful & the vets & nurses were all so lovely and made such a fuss of Sully which was so reassuring. I’m gutted this vets is an hour from me as I would love for it to be our local. Thank you all so much for taking such good care of Sully ❤️

I visited recently, I don’t have my own pets registered with this practice but some of our cattery customers are registered with this practice. I contacted them to arrange collection of some medication for one of our cattery guests. The staff were really helpful and felt with my enquiry and I collected the prescription later that day. Really helpful , friendly and efficient, thank you

As always first class treatment from front desk to vetinary care. 3 1/2 month pup decides to help himself from a bag of adult kibble whilst out. Came back to find pup looking like a pot bellied pig! Rang up to explain what had happened, was told to come up straight away .
