We brought our family dog of almost 15 years to be put to sleep last month. We were all devastated, myself and my stepfather remained with him when we brought him in and it was only on reflection we realised how disgustingly poor the care was. When we arrived (on time) for our appointment - we didn’t want to sit around in the waiting room upset, we were left waiting for over 10 minutes with no explanation. We were then taken in by the vet who did not introduce themselves - I have since asked for his name which was TSVETOMIR. Not once did he acknowledge what we were going through or show any sympathy or compassion. He got me to sign a form which he had already written “Died” and the date on the form. He then took our dog into a back room for a cannula, brought him back without saying I word, then got our the injection to give - again without explaining the procedure- I did not want to watch but wanted to be with my dog therefore knew it was going to happen. He barely spoke to us - just said I’ll check he’s definitely gone. Absolutely disgusting - then said I’ll leave you with him for a while and walked out. Now I work for the NHS and if I was to treat bereavement like this I would be struck off - how dare he treat our dog of 15 years like this. I am utterly disgusted, he has made an already traumatic experience 100x worse. I have advised all friends and family to avoid this vets due to his behaviour, he should consider a different job with his attitude. The lovely woman behind the counter gave me the nicest apology when I came in to collect memories of our dog last week, so thank you & I apologise you have to endure working with such an awful team. Unfortunately we will be avoiding at all costs now what an awful experience with an awful “vet”, let’s hope he never has to suffer any loss or look for any condolences- as he gives 0. Shocking. Never again.

It was our first visit. My rescue cat is 12 yrs old and I’ve owned her for just over a year. We arranged our first visit because she gets terribly travel sick in the car and The Corner Vets is a short walk from home. She still got travel sick in her carrier and there was no car journey, just a short walk. The vets were so lovely, kind and caring. They looked after her, cleaned her up, they let her rest and they gave her time to try to settle down, as well. Also mopping up my worry and concern for her too. The staff and vets were just so kind, understanding, warm and caring. Thank you so so much for everything you’ve done to help make this journey today manageable. Also thank you for saying that you’re happy to do a home visit next time as this will make all the difference from now on. Thank you everyone you’re all superstars ✨🌟✨ The photo below is her on a non vet day 🐾💕

I recently took my dog in to be spayed and I couldn’t be happier with the care we received. From start to finish, the staff were kind, reassuring, and very professional. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made sure my dog was as comfortable as possible. The aftercare advice was thorough, and I felt completely supported throughout the whole process. My dog is recovering really well, and I’m so grateful to the team for making what could have been a stressful experience such a positive one. Highly recommend this surgery to anyone looking for compassionate and attentive care for their pets.

First time with Dottie visiting the corner veterinary surgery, had her 2nd lot of injections at 12 weeks old all very new to both of us. The vet and the staff were very helpful and informative and we were given a lovely welcome pack which includes lots of useful information on caring for a puppy. Looking forward to our next visit.
