Our little Bijon Lily developed a limp on her front leg which caused her difficulty walking. I wanted her to see a vet but being Ladies Day at Epsom our usual branch at Tattenham Corner was closed. The Ewell branch fitted us in that morning which was fantastic. The vet was great and spent time to fully check her over and reassure a worried owner! Very efficient and friendly service. Thank you.

I have been coming to Goddards in Ewell for over 20 years with all the cats and dogs I've ever had. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming, my dogs actually love going there and always run in happily and jump on the scales! Everyone is compassionate and caring, we even got a condolence card after our beloved cat passed away. My mastiff also had his picture up in reception as pet of the month after he was in for a dental surgery that he had to be sedated for (it was his first time going under and I was allowed to lie in a darkened room with him while he fell asleep). They also try their best to keep the costs as low as possible for us, advising the most cost effective way for the various treatments that my current English Bulldog and French Mastiff ever need. Thankyou all at Ewell Goddard ☺️

I would like to sincerely thank the entire team at Goddard Vet Ewell for the care and support they gave my dog, Mila, our large black Labrador. Sadly, she passed away last Friday, and it was very unexpected. Throughout that difficult time, the team at Goddard were wonderful. Everyone at the surgery, both on the day and in the days before, was incredibly helpful, understanding, and gentle with us. I would especially like to thank Dr Mahallati for all his help. I can genuinely recommend the Goddard Vet team to anyone looking for kind, reasonable, and reliable care for their dog. You can truly count on them. Tomasz Kopec

We recently had cause to take our 17 year old long hair ragdoll to this clinic to have quite a few knots cut out of her I am actually quite taken back how absolutely fantastic they were and how well they treated her and what a fantastic job they did and I have never come across a veterinary clinic that was such good value for money Not only did they get every single knot out of her, but they also clipped her nails and only charged £36 absolutely outstanding value and care I would highly recommend this clinic and all the staff that work there. I cannot thank them enough and will never be going anywhere else.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to the team today. They went above & beyond for my poorly dog who is now booked in for emergency surgery tomorrow! Amazing, kind & compassionate team! X

I have kept taking my kitten to the Ewell branch since his first ever check up but today was the last time we came. At every previous appointment I have been kept waiting for at least 15-20 mins without an apology (appointments often also were kept brief and as short as possible) but today we were 8 mins late due to heavy traffic. The receptionist was just nodding her head saying I have to reschedule as the vet brought the next patient in and won't see us. Even though I still had half of my appointment left, and even though the next appointment now became free (patient was brought in forward) they still refused to see us. It was extremely unhelpful and it made me not want to bring my pet again. This however really just was the last straw as other dodgy things were going on (blood test not being done but charged for, etc.) I am happy to look for a new place (new group altogether) as the bad experiences just kept piling up and I really don't recommend this place to anyone.

Unfortunately I have had to move from this practice after only 1 year. Initially I was impressed with their service however I took my dog for his vaccinations in November and the experience left me in tears. The vet was far from empathetic with my very nervous dog. The student vet carried out the physical assessment on my dog and once completed the vet then advised he also needed to do an assessment, this had not been explained when I consented to the student vet and therefore stressed my dog to the point of him becoming snappy. The vet insisted they didn't have my dogs notes, the student vet then found them. I muzzled my dog as he was unhappy but was made to feel I was over reacting when I chose to do this, he is a strong dog and I'm sure had he bitten the vet they would have taken a different stance on me muzzling him. I have moved vets and since found out that the reason my dog has been suffering with his skin is because this vet also supplied the wrong dose of medication which I have been giving since November! I have rung 3 times and been assured the pet plan will be cancelled and it has yet to happen so I am still being charged. The whole experience has been awful and I would not recommend this practice at all.

I was initially impressed by Anne's professionalism and knowledge of guinea pig cysts, and we accepted her recommendation of hormone injection treatment, but I was later advised by another vet at the practice that the treatment was responsible for my guinea pig's death a short time later - a risk that was not discussed at all or even alluded to. My husband took my dying, breathless guinea pig to the practice and was made to wait 15 mins whilst the vet saw another pet for a routine visit (the practice confirmed this whilst I was on the phone begging them to give my guinea pig some pain relief in the meantime). I made a complaint at the time which no-one has responded to in the last six months. My experience has been absolutely heart breaking. I certainly won't be going back to Goddard's with the rest of my piggie herd. Update in response to Goddard's comments - I already made a formal complaint at the time my guinea pig died so you already have details - you chose not to acknowledge it or respond to it. You only seem to be showing an interest as I've made a public review.
