I find the service at Downland Vets in Bognor Regis to be thorough and everyone is very helpful. My cat will be 20 years old by end of May. She has a thyroid condition, takes blood pressure tablets and also has a Solensia jab on a monthly basis for her arthritus. She has a heart murmur. The vets are brilliant with her and we keep her as calm as we can during the sessions. I am very pleased with the duty of care shown and this includes appointments at very short notice. Thank you for all your help.

We have been coming to Downland vets for over 25 years. All the staff are very kind and helpful. The vets are thorough, gentle and understanding with our pets and their humans.

If it were possible to give zero stars i would. Likely killed my dog with human medication. Denied any causal links despite over a dozen veterinary studies detailing risks associated. Denied they existed despite being sent direct links. Cannot relay simple information like a cost before treatment and will slam you with a giant bill then basically say don't have a pet if you can't afford it. Staff will lie to cover mistakes and falsify records. Complaints teams will play on your grief and loss to escape criticism and responsibility. Vile corporate company hiding behind a rare few genuinely nice staff.

Came into practice today for annual vaccination on my dog Rosie who I have recently got. The previous owner had the pet plan to cover everything and I was going to continue this in my name. Upon arrival I explained this to a quite surly on the point of being rude receptionist, I was told "You're not the owner" told her I am and explained the situation, Rosie has been registered at this vets since she was a puppy and had a 11.15am appointment. "Have you Registered" she snapped at me, once again told her I am the new owner of a dog that's already registered and part of their pet plan to cover jabs etc and I wanted to carry it on. You need to register she once again snapped, I asked if I could register then, she told me she was to busy, there was one person in the waiting room 🤔 She then told me Rosies jab for her booster was ready and I'd have to pay £96 for it. This is something that had already been paid for as part of previous owners pet plan. At this point I'd really had enough of this extremely unhelpful receptionist and said I'd go else where. Really awful customer service all I wanted to do was carry on a service my dog had had at this practice. Really disappointed

I had first class treatment from all the team at Bognor. Nick The vet was exceptional, making every effort to improve my cat’s poorly state with great success. The reception staff and nurses were all equally pleasant and helpful. I shall return and thank you for your hard work. Truly appreciated.

Recieved extremely helpful caring and reassuring support from a member of reception staff today. Made my crazy poor health aches and pains more bearable by sorting out prescriptions and appointments 😘😘

I cannot fully express how truly exceptional the veterinary clinicians were during one of the most heartbreaking moments of our lives. When our beloved 16-year-old dog suffered a sudden cardiovascular emergency and ultimately had to be euthanized, the entire team demonstrated a level of professionalism, empathy, and compassion that went far beyond our expectations. From the moment we arrived, every staff member treated both our dog and us with the utmost care and sensitivity. They were incredibly patient and supportive, guiding us through an unbearable situation with kindness and respect. As devastated owners, we were met with genuine compassion at every step — they never rushed us, always made space for our emotions, and treated our dog with dignity and love until the very end. In such a painful and vulnerable time, their warmth and dedication meant everything to us. We are deeply grateful for the care, comfort, and understanding they provided. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for everything you did for our dog and for us in our time of need.
