All the staff are very friendly & you are made very welcome from the moment you walk through the door. I like being able to see the same vet as they know my pets history & I don't have to keep repeating myself, although on occasions when I have seen a different vet, they were very understanding & gave me confidence in what they were saying & doing. I have been going here for many years with my various pets & will continue to use them for my current pets. A lovely place.

I had to visit Lawrence Veterinary Centre & Cat Clinic for an emergency appointment after my dog Hugo became very ill. Even though we are not registered at this clinic, Hugo was given an appointment within 40 minutes. When I told the very helpful receptionist, that Hugo was extremely frightened of vets after previous trauma, I was told to collect a buzzer from reception so that we could wait outside until the vet was ready for us. When buzzed we went in to be met by the lovely Elle, who could not have been any better, Elle was patient with Hugo and took the time to sit with him to put him at ease before commencing any investigations and treatments, she explained everything clearly and put both myself and Hugo at ease. This has been the best veterinary experience that Hugo has ever had and will hopefully mean he will be less anxious if he needs to go back. I thank the team at Lawrence for this experience and Hugo will not be going to any other veterinary practice again.

The best vets we have been to so far. Everyone is so friendly and always has time for us. The vets itself is really clean and nicely laid out. Our vet Sophie is amazing with our reactive dog, so much so our dog is now excited to go in and see her! She's so patient and informative and no question is too small. Would 100% recommend to anyone with nervous or reactive dogs!

I was panicking about this vet’s visitbecause the last time I brought a cat to the vet, he died. That was my current cat’s dad, so I was apprehensive about taking him to the vet. However, I knew he needed antibiotics that I couldn’t get for him without the visit. My first impression of the building was it was clean and professional - Instagrammable even (The parking area needs work, though, but I found a parking spot without issue). I arrived in the dog section of the veterinary practice. Instead of telling me where to go and leaving me to it, the receptionist walked us to the cat building, and she ensured we were settled in before leaving. I appreciated that. Even though, I was having small panic attacks reminiscing about my cat who had passed, the environment was calm and helped me to relax. They had calming sprays for the cats and blankets to put over their carrier (to help the cats feel less stressed) free of charge. I loved that! The veterinarian was friendly, caring, and informative. The receptionist staff was kind and receptive. Overall, this was a much needed pleasant experience. Thank you!

Thank you so much for looking after my girl while I nipped to use the facilities round the back. I hadn't noticed these little nooks and signs before. She was so chilled even after just 5 minutes. The spray and the blankets are a wonderful idea. These are the details that make me travel so far ❤️

One of the very best vets in Nottingham, caring compassionate and very helpful. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. My old girl who is twenty being cared for by the very best. I know it’s nearly time to say goodbye and I will be heartbroken but I know Lawrence vets will take care of her when the time comes.
