Losing confidence in Scarsdale due to their price increases when they were already sky high, and after discovering a procedure didn’t quite go as expected. However, I wanted to leave a review to praise how the situation was handled fairly and in Teddie’s favour, thanks to Emily Roome, their Client Care Manager. From start to finish, I felt Emily dealt with my complaint impartially and with the welfare of my dog as the priority. Both myself and Teddie are extremely grateful. I also believe a highly skilled veterinarian called Deb carried out the extractions. Teddie recovered well and bounced back into a happier dog who was no longer in pain straight away. Thank you. My favourite duo are Tracey and Jo at the Langley Mill branch. I find these two to be among the friendliest and kindest people I’ve dealt with in any situation at the surgery. Their level of customer service is something you can’t bottle. They always make me feel heard, prioritised, and cared for—especially when my little sausages aren’t well and I’m in a panic. You can guarantee you’ll come away from conversations with them with a smile on your face. Shannon & Co are also fabulous! My only major concern is that the prices, compared to every nearby and far veterinary practice, simply aren’t acceptable—they’re ridiculous. I now choose to travel to Stavely Vets, 35 minutes away, even in an emergency, as their prices are so much lower and the care is always of an extremely high standard. I could throw a stone at how close Scarsdale is to my front door. It’s such a shame, but you shouldn’t be filled with fear at the thought of taking your dog to the vets, especially when they need help. That said, thank you for caring for my Teddie.

We had rescued a dog and she had a small medical problem and was still under the rehomers insurance ,so we had to take to Langley Mill branch .The receptionist was so lovely .The 2 young trainees answered all our questions and are a credit to the practice .They conferred with the vet and prescribed what was needed. If I lived closer I would definitely without a doubt go here .My dog was so calm she was nodding off !

We’ve never had a bad experience at this practice. Been going for years. Originally moved from Oakwood to Langley Mill due to staff behaviour. Recent visit- Never had that vet before, and we were very happy with how friendly and knowledgeable he was. He listened when I said my dog hates his eyes covered. He was patient, and understanding.

We have only been with this vet for about 4 months but I am so impressed with their service. All the staff are brilliant at Alfreton ,Langley mill and Pride park. I feel I am listened to and I am valued as a client and my dog gets the best treatment. I feel everyone really cares and that's very important.

Lovely staff & you always feel welcome. Took my dog in for a blood test on Friday & to say it was a team effort is an understatement. My dog was not having any of it, so singing & liver in a tube was a big help, but the professionalism of the staff got us there in the end. Thank you
