I just want to say a massive Thank you to the wonderful staff at Ambivet. They have literally saved my beautiful Bracco Silvies life. The communication was fantastic. Even ringing at 11 at night. They were caring and gave my Baby Girl the love and attention she needed. She has come back to us and the staff cannot be Thanked enough.

Although the vet was very helpful and nice, their prices are extortionate! I got charged nearly £500 to have my 20 year old cat pts, which shattered my world, to then be lumped with a £500 bill! Absolute disgrace!!!!!! Sort your prices out, this ain’t the first time they have ripped me off either!!! I only went there with my cat because she was very poorly and suffering! If I could have gone somewhere else, I 100% would have!!! Unless your minted, don’t use them and expect a decent bill!!! Expect rot be ripped off and in need of a 2nd job just to pay your bill!

When our dog was sick, they were incredible at helping us and keeping us calm. Ben in particular spent the time to explain the situation to us in detail and put our minds at ease. Highly recommend for their attentive care and service!

I won’t take my cats anywhere else! Jess, Josh and Emily are absolute superstars! We’ve just moved house and not wanting to stress our senior cat boys out with travelling, we signed up with a new vet based on their good reviews. I was gutted to leave Ambivet Heanor, as they have been so great with Jake and Jasper! 🐾💙🐾 We had a bad experience with the new vet where the receptionist was just not listening to us. We then signed up with a second local vet, but they couldn’t fit Jake in as quickly as we’d have liked. As Jake has been vomiting on and off for a week, I decided to drive him back to Heanor today and it was the best decision I could have made. They were patient, thorough, and they know his long history with kidney disease, hyperthyroidism, recurring UTI’s and high blood pressure. We don’t know the cause of his vomiting yet, but I have every faith that they will get to the bottom of it and give Jake the care he needs. Here are the boys looking thankful and relieved after I told them we’re staying with Ambivet. A huge thanks to Jess, Josh, Emily and all of the amazing reception staff at Ambivet. Dealing with senior, poorly pets is stressful, especially when you’re dealing with the stress of moving home. However, I’m confident they will do everything they can for Jake…and my stress levels!

Thank you for your amazing care of Effy at a very worrying time for us. I really appreciated the prompt appointments, the care shown by all the staff, the detailed explanation of issues and treatments… and of course being able to collect her and bring her home after you had made her better!
