We took our dog Odin for his booster and nail clip yesterday and he's a very timid dog the 2 vet nurses that dealt with him were absolutely amazing, we've been going to medivet on Blagreaves lane since Odin was a puppy and I can honestly say we've never had any problems. When Abdul was there it was a bit rushed which I get because he was always busy ,but since he's gone the appointments are done thoroughly the new vet is brilliant and takes time to explain everything. I won't be going to any other vet and if anyone is thinking of joining this practice I highly recommend them they're excellent 👌

Abdul is an amazing vet and we have been with Abdul since he first started his practice before this corporate company took over. Abdul is, and has always been, compassionate, honest and has always put our pet’s health first before profits. All of the staff have always been brilliant, particularly Sabrina and Becky who are helpful, knowledgeable and care about our pets, and also us as pet owners. The reception staff are lovely and always try their best to fit your pet in for an appointment but they now have to constantly put up with complaints regarding the price increases which have escalated tremendously since Medivet has taken “control” of this lovely, once family led practice. Even flea and worming treatments not covered by Insurance have escalated. It will be interesting to see how many pet owners choose to stay with Medivet Littleover once Abdul retires, as he is the reason that I, and the pet owners I know, have been with this amazing and highly respected and trusted vet for the past 17 years. Medivet are not the Practice, just a faceless, Corporate Company detached from the reality of, and from the Pets that are registered with them.

Very expensive compared to other local vets, no breakdown of the bill when receipt was requested and also had to pay 50% of a £405 puppy vaccination bill to get an appointment Definitely going to look for a new vets Lady on the receptionist desk was fantastic and very nice to speak to

Unfortunately, this place—like most others—is focused on making money, and that seems to be their main priority. I went there with my dog, who is likely struggling with an allergy. I wasn’t asked any questions, such as what my dog eats or where he spends time, even though that seems important in cases of allergies. I was told that this condition would last for the rest of his life, and of course, expensive treatment was suggested. I understand that veterinary care is costly, but in my case, no one tried to consider what might be causing the problem or why my dog is having these issues. It seems easier to manage the symptoms with expensive medication indefinitely rather than trying to understand the root cause and attempt to actually treat it.
