1 star is generous. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I would never recommend this practice. My cat went in for a check-up and then underwent further investigations and blood tests after she was found to be jaundiced. Before she went in, she was alert, responsive and interacting with us. When she came back, she was noticeably less responsive, which was extremely upsetting to see. We were then told she was dying and needed to be euthanised immediately. No alternative treatment options were properly explored. Instead, we were immediately pushed towards surgery costing thousands of pounds prior to euthanasia being suggested, while being told she was in severe pain and that her bile duct had twisted, meaning she was not expected to last much longer. When we explained that we wanted a second opinion because we were not convinced euthanasia was necessary, we felt pressured and repeatedly contacted despite making our position clear. The situation left our entire family devastated, especially as this cat means so much to us. When the second opinion came through, communication from the team was abrupt and dismissive. We struggled to get a word in during phone conversations. The second veterinary practice advised treatment with steroids and antibiotics. The supposedly “dying” cat is now back to demanding her dinner every day, harassing us for food, and behaving like her normal self. Based on our experience, the diagnosis and recommendations we received appear to have been inaccurate, and the distress caused to our family was immense. It has been over a week and we still have our little gremlin happy and well.

Suzy and her team are great! So much so that my dogs look forward to going to the vet! They’ve helped treat my dogs for years with everything from minor sicknesses to pretty big surgeries. I’ve brought my Frenchie, my Giant Schnauzer, various of my working German Shepherds and clients’ dogs, all of which they have dealt with very well. Highly recommend!

We called for advice for our airedale who was super stressed after 4 very long nights of fireworks. We were invited to go straight down to Denham where the vet was very understanding and we came away with some meds to try and feeling reassured. Great job!

Friendly, helpful, understanding and clearly care deeply for all animals. I always feel happy that my dogs have had the best treatment after my appointment and that all of the staff are really nice and fully understanding of the stresses I’m under when I bring one of my dogs who are family to me. I have 14 disabled dogs so I have to have a very good vet

Millie is always welcome Shes a boisterous retriever and loves the vets here. It's hard to walk past without her wanting to go inside. She had key hole spading recently and recovered really well. Its handy as I live in Wexham so its local to me for vaccinations and weight checks.
