I recently took my pug, Peggie, to Mildmay Veterinary Hospital for her Kennel Club BOAS grading, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The team were extremely helpful, explained everything clearly, and the cost was very reasonable compared to other practices. A special thank you to Rebecca, who carried out the assessment — she was wonderful with Peggie, reassuring, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. It made what could have been a stressful visit very easy and positive. I would highly recommend Mildmay Veterinary Hospital to anyone looking for professional, friendly and trustworthy veterinary care. Excellent service from start to finish.

We have been registered at Mildmay Winchester since our Maltese puppy was four months old and have always received excellent care for her. Every time we visit for health checks, the nurses greet her warmly and always make her feel loved and at ease. Our dog actually gets excited when we take her to the vets, which speaks volumes about how comfortable and happy she feels in their care. Over the years, our dog has undergone a few surgeries, with the most recent being a leg operation performed by Dr Becca. Dr Richard diagnosed our dog with torn ligaments during a visit for an unrelated issue. He recommended we see Dr Becca due to her specialism in orthopaedics. From our first consultation, Dr Becca was incredibly thorough, taking the time to explain the various surgical options in detail and demonstrating a genuine care for our dog's well-being. She never pushed us in any particular direction, and it was clear she simply wanted the best outcome for the animal. We are truly grateful for the follow-up care we've received from the surgery. Dr Becca has shown our dog such kindness and dedication, we wanted to sincerely thank both her and Dr Richard for everything they’ve done.

I would like to say thank you to Kate for her care of Molly and for her kindness towards me. She explained everything to me in a very clear and compassionate manner. Her overall care for Molly, whilst brief has been exceptional. She gave me options and in doing so gave the detailed information. Kate's manner allowed me to consider putting Molly to sleep without feeling guilty and she helped me to reach a very hard but much needed decision without blaming myself which will contribute to how I cope with my sadness moving forward. Should I need a vet in the future, I would not hesitate to contact Mildmay and Kate. I felt confident and supported during Molly's care. Best wishes Hazel and Molly

We have been going to Mildmay with our cat, Rocky, for some years with the Healthy Pet club for his nails and weight. Rocky recently had a growth in his mouth which was quickly seen to, needed surgery and thankfully all good now. Everyone at the vets were fantastic and so kind, especially veterinary Richard.

I just wanted to say thank you for taking care of Bella, our forever loved cat. Bless her, she was very sick. All of you we have met and talked to at Mildmay, were so friendly and kind, very professional and understanding. If we ever have a pet again, we will definitely choose you as our vet x
