Welcome to The Stocks Veterinary Centre - a friendly and caring veterinary practice in the heart of Worcester, Worcestershire, England.

The centre, located near the beautiful River Severn, is led by two experienced and dedicated directors - Miss Sara Alexander and Dr Sarah Carroll. Both directors, supported by a team of highly qualified veterinary surgeons and nurses, provide high quality care to the pets of this wonderful community.

The practice has a team of five respected veterinary surgeons, each with their own area of expertise. Collectively, they have many years of experience and their qualifications include BVetMed, PgC(SAM), MRCVS and BSAVA PGCertSAM. They have a special interest in a range of small animals, equine, and poultry.

The veterinary surgeons, supported by a highly skilled team of veterinary nurses, deliver expert, professional, and compassionate care to all animals, whether cats, dogs, small mammals, or poultry. Our veterinary nurses take pride in their work and offer help and support to both animals and their owners. Our dedicated Head Nurse, Miss Jessica Hughes, ensures that the nursing team is trained to a high standard, and all our nurses are Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs).

We understand that every pet is individual, and our vetinary surgeons tailor their approach to suit the animal’s unique needs. The practice works closely with clients, helping them to understand their pets’ health and wellbeing, and encourage them to be actively involved in their pets’ care.

The Stocks Veterinary Centre provides high standard facilities for both pets and owners. Our facilities include, open weekends, on-site client car parking, and disabled public access. We believe that regular veterinary care is important to maintain your pets’ overall health, and we provide a range of services to support this, including routine consultations, vaccinations, microchipping, and dietary advice.

We understand that sometimes having a pet can have its challenges and unexpected events can occur. In times of desperate need, our out-of-hours emergency service, run by our team of veterinary surgeons and nurses, is available to assist. We offer a 24/7 emergency service to support our clients during any unforeseen circumstances.
