The staff are friendly, and while all vets are expensive, I dont feel ripped off. For example, my dog had an operation, and I was given the price range it might fall into depending on what they found, the final price was on the lower end. When I had to have my previous dog put to sleep, the vet was amazing, she heated up some chicken and we sat on the floor with him while she administered the drug. He didn't even notice and died eating warm chicken - it helped to know he died like this as he was only 6. I always meant to send her a card, I was so grateful, but I never got round to it.

Today I took my cat in to see Anna I believe . My cat was being sick and we wanted to figure out why so took her in and the vet in fairness was very nice but did find I had to repeat a few answers that I had already given so was a little concerned but it's bank holiday fair play ect. She then proceeded to give my cat some medication / medipet supliment in a syringe/ brown stuff to put on your finger and administer to your cat . When she opened it it was like brown water . She proceeded to give her a bit she squirted on her hand . My cat licked it a few times then the vet put more on her hand and my cat turned her nose up at it . The vet then tells me ( this doesn't look right it should be a paste ) after she's given it to my cat . IV then decided to remove my cat from them and they offered to keep her in for observations which I refused . So basically I took my cat there for what turned out to be a fur ball but now I have to watch her for the weekend because technically the vet gave her spoilt medication. And they still charged me for it. Either wasn't stored correctly there or from there supplier but I would rather travel next time than go there again. Really hope she doesn't turn over this weekend or I will turn. Now have to book her in at Lowestoft to get her checked because the vet messed up . She was nice but she has messed up . I'll also be checking they have been correct on my cats records . Not a good experience so try avoid if you can.

I have been having my pet , treatment and care , since she was a puppy , Magdalen Branch. No problems with the care .Till my last visit in which i was informed she needed the treatment i went in there fore .On paying that visit i was told they would ring to get her in to be treated. After another week, i rang to which they asked if I wish to have the treatment and if so will give me a quote to agree before booking her in .Then they call me with a quote with out having the Medicare cover contract £1800 .Felt being pressured I visited another vets ,with full treatment and more cost £700 . I asked CVS To explain such costs , they ignored my request . I repeated my request to Magdalen branch . To which they have just blocked me . I have sent quotes emails etc . To rip Briton , panorama,GMB etc.

I'd score a zero to be totally honest.. however the staff are kind and good at their job. When you can see them! And when they actually respond to your issues! We went from having routine blood monitoring results being reported to us the same day. To having them done (when we could finally get slots) and the reception team warning us to call in if we have not heard back in 3 days.. you would then call in because no one called back, to be told they'd call you back, to have to call in again and again as they didn't respond in the time period they set. I think the longest was 9 days for blood that they told us themselves were in house and used to take 1 day.. They just have no staff. You could never get an appointment. We moved vets we have no issues being seen now. And we were surprised that the new place was good deal cheaper. We are much happier now were with an independent vets. It got so stressful just trying to get an appointment or help before we moved.

This place has seriously gone downhill. You’ll pay premium prices only to be seen by poorly trained veterinary nurses who give incorrect advice and even the wrong medication. You’ll only get to see an actual vet if you agree to expensive treatments. If you can’t afford the options they push, they’ll even suggest putting down a healthy animal — one that another practice was able to treat successfully for far less money and within just a few days. When you raise concerns, management refuses to take any responsibility or admit fault. Avoid at all costs. There are far better, more compassionate clinics out there.

Thank you so much to all the staff working last week who saved my boy. Unfortunately he got hold of human medications and was very poorly. Staff were exceptional, took him at short notice from Pakefield Practice for overnight and continuing care. He is now back to being himself and we are eternally grateful. Staff were knowledgeable, friendly and calming, from receptionists, nurses and vets, I felt reassured he was in the best possible place to be looked after. Also dare I say it...the bill wasn't as bad as expected. Thanks again! Would 100% recommend this practice to others.
