  Live in Loddon but couldn’t get an appointment for at lease a couple of weeks so went to Beccles. They were very friendly and even saw me before my appointment time as there was no one else waiting. Just as well as Arthur, my Ragdoll, was screaming the place down. Wouldn’t have minded but he was only going in for a nail trim. It also helps if you join the Health Plan, it is definitely worth the money.

  We have left them as in all honesty they are just there for the money. Our dog cracked a tooth, non-emergency and the estimate was anywhere from £1200- £2k !!! I was utterly flabbergasted that they could even say this with a straight face, absolute highway robbery. Their fees have just balloned over the last few years, no doubt bought out by some coporate body that just fleeces people. Also to be honest most, not all, the vets we have seen lack empathy and give little thought to the animal. My dogs check up was a quick feel of his abdomen and done, thats £70 please no look at the teeth, temp taken nothing. We have gone to an independant and the diffrence is amazing and the tooth issue with another 3 taken out after cleaning and advice was less than £600, 3 times less than the quote they gave me !!!

  We were seen promptly by Charlotte who was very kind and gentle with our cats. She managed to trim their claws without stressing them. All the team are very friendly and helpful.

  We visited Becles Three Rivers vets today for our spaniels annual vaccination. The vet was very helpful and answered all the questions we had about our spaniels health. We did not feel rushed and our spaniel also got a treat at the end of the appointment.....Thank you 😊

  Have been using this veterinary service for over a year now, we are always welcomed with smiles and even our dog is happy to come through the door! The service is excellent and their care and concern for our pet is second to none. Keep up the good work!

  I've just seen a post where an elderly cat was brought to you by CP and put to sleep immediately.. there was allegedly an "issue with his chip" and it seems your local CP branch didn't want to take him on, being old and unlikely to be adopted.. absolutely disgusting when he had a human waiting at home!!! You didn't wait anywhere near the 7 legal days. Since when has being an old cat with (in your opinion) arthritis been a reason to kill a cat immediately without waiting to find his "owner"!!?? Arthritis is TREATABLE!! 🤬

  THEY LOST MY CAT!!!!! The Norwich branch lost my new, very nervous rescue cat in the ceiling of their building. Astonishingly, I heard them saying ‘not again’! They only had a step ladder in the building- were calling a branch in BECCLES to bring a longer ladder- my partner came with his because he would obviously be much quicker!!! . The roof had clear asbestos in it. My very nervous cat, there for an stress-related skin condition is now even more nervous!! It’s beyond words!!!!!! In addition to that, he’s a new rescue cat, we had only just earned his trust, he is now off his food and will take a good deal of coaxing to earn it again. He was incredibly stressed. I cannot believe this is even possible- as the vet walked slowly out of the consulting room, I said ‘I think my cat is trying to escape’- tried to grab him, assuming that the vet would close the door or help from the other side…instead he carried on walking…I said ‘my cat has just run into the back room’- he very calmly says …not even turning back…it’s okay, we’ve got loads of time. I don’t know what this was supposed to mean. Some time later, my cat is still not back, so I go to the staff entrance to find out what’s going on and can hear other staff members saying that he is in the ceiling and ‘not again’. And ‘we don’t have a ladder long enough to get him’. It turns out, that even though the vet is aware that my cat has escaped, he has somehow managed to allow my cat to get through another TWO doors, and up into the ceiling of their building- where he can get into very tight corners. The only thing the receptionist is able to say to me is, ‘at least he’s not outside’. Damn right, if he escaped outside- which is possible given the layout of the building- he would likely be dead because it goes straight out onto a busy road. I am beyond upset. Beyond angry. AVOID THIS PRACTICE LIKE THE PLAGUE

  As a first time pet owner they explain everything really well great staff on the reception desk always greeted with a smile and they always have time too say a hello to your pets. Only place I've used in the six years so couldn't tell you how competitive they are on price as my cats treatment is more important would definitely recommend

  Can not fault Three Rivers Beccles. I rang up lunchtime & was offered an appointment within 3 hours. Bet was very patient with our boy as he was in discomfort with his hot spot. She prescribed cream, antibiotics & painkillers. His wound is already looking much better less than 24 hours later. Staff are excellent. Highly recommend this vet’s.

  My Dog Dudley had surgery to remove a small marble sized mass on his left flank. This operation cost me £1075. He was left with a wound some 5” long .. the wound was bulging at each end .. 7 days later the wound is infected at the bulges.. the practice administered antibiotics and now wish to charge for those drugs .. I’m now registering Dudley with a independent vet that is not part of a cartel .. I’m absolutely disgusted beyond disgust with this once wonderful practice .. the prices have consistently increased month on month .. it’s money money money with zero care for the patient .. more vets .. less accountants is what this so called veterinary practice needs
