Our 1 year old cat was very sick, vomiting and diarrhoea. Our local vet in Mill Lane referred her to the village vet for tests to determine the cause as she completely stopped eating and drinking. She was admitted to the Village Vet where a tests and an ultrasound determined that she had eaten a foreign object which was logged in her intestines. She had to undergo an emergency surgery to remove the object. Chloe the emergency vet carried out the operation and kept us up to date constantly from beginning to end. She was very empathetic, calm and professional and the operation was successful. They are not the cheapest and I strongly recommend to people to get pet insurance and pay the little difference to raise the limits. I only had insurance for up to £3000 and the operation cost £4500. The first two visits to the vet cost £170 so I had to pay £1670 to cover the extra costs. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic however vet fees are extremely expensive and I strongly recommend getting good pet insurance. Thank you Chloe for all your care and support, it’s very much appreciated.

We took our cat Barney to see Dr Andreou this evening after his first seizure. She was wonderful! Calm, thorough and patient. Dr Andreou has a lovely bedside manner, we consider ourselves lucky to have her as our emergency vet.

recently brought my two cats to this veterinary clinic after having a not-so-good experience at another one, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the care we received here. From the moment we arrived, the reception team was incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful. They made the whole visit feel calm and reassuring, which means a lot when you’re worried about your pets. Justin and Chloe were absolutely wonderful. They treated my cats with so much gentleness, patience, and genuine care — exactly the way I would hope someone would handle my animals. It really felt like they understood that pets are family. Their professionalism was clear throughout the whole appointment, but what stood out even more was how human and compassionate they were, both with my cats and with me. After my previous experience elsewhere, I was quite nervous about going to another vet, but they completely restored my trust. I truly felt that my cats were in the best possible hands. Thank you, Justin, Chloe, and the lovely reception team for taking such great care of us. I’m very grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a vet who combines professionalism with genuine kindness.

We had a great experience with Jonas during Bella’s orthopedic visit. He was kind, patient, and very gentle with her, which immediately put us at ease. He explained everything clearly and took the time to answer our questions, making sure we understood Bella’s condition and the next steps. We really appreciated his calm and caring approach. Thank you, Jonas, for taking such good care of Bella.

Fantastic vets. We changed vets as our previous vet wasn’t very nice but this vets practice is fantastic!! Friendly, caring and sarah the vet explained things thoroughly to me and my mum. I would have no hesitation in bringing my doggy back there. I highly recommend this vet practice.

Kerry-Ann was brilliant when we went to the emergency vet in Hampstead. She was exceptionally helpful and compassionate, going above and beyond to support us — including guiding us through the administrative paperwork during a very stressful moment. She is truly an asset to the Village Vet team. Her care, professionalism, and kindness made a difficult experience far easier to bear. With sincere appreciation, Gordon & Gustavo

This is the most disrespected practice i have ever seen during my 6 years of dog parent. Disorganised entirely rood NOOO sense of empathy . Staff changes every week. Shame cause one of the vets is highly competent and skilled I was dragged twice while my appointment was cancelled … no appointments confirmation -they locate you and your dog to whoever is available ( just graduated from Collage ) to deal with cancer….. speechless !! Their concern is to get the membership … once this is achieved your pet becomes guinea pig for graduates to learn…. Just disgusting
