DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE after messing up one operation on his foot , I had to take my dog back in to restitch his wound . after the second operation they took him out for a wee on their carpark with only the cone and collar on( not the three point harness I provided and insisted he wore at all times ) He escaped for some hours and was eventually rescued out of busy traffic by a kind member of the public , if it wasn't for her my dog could be dead. During his escape he had ripped open stitches requiring a third operation, due to his nervous disposition and the trauma of escape they arranged a set time to return, I refused to leave the waiting room incase they lost him again , they took him into the back cages and we waited for five hours the nurse came out and told me there had been an emergency and would I like to take him for a walk while we wait another few hours ! I thought she was coming out to tell me he's ready to go they were aware I was sat there the entire time I could have taken him home and returned when they were ready to actually operate as arranged initially. I had to take him to another vets to have his leg sewn back up after this. Photo of him being returned to the vets by the angel that saved him

I could not have asked for a better experience throughout the entire journey. It's never nice to have to see your pet go through surgery, but the Animal Trust, Shrewsbury, made the entire experience so easy. Every stage was explained in great detail. There was genuine care and patience with my dog. Even after we had taken our dog home, they followed up to make sure everything was going well. Would absolutely recommend.

We are so grateful to the team at Animal Trust. Our bulldog recently had entropion surgery and the care she received was amazing from start to finish. The staff were kind, patient and really caring throughout the whole process. Two years ago our other dog had an amputation there, and again the aftercare was incredible. We was between this and our local vets but I trust more in Animal trust as you can see they care for the animal not the money They kept calling us with updates during and after surgery to let us know how our dog was doing, which meant so much to us and really helped ease the stress. You can tell the team genuinely care about the animals and not just the treatment itself. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for our dogs ❤️

Great experience at the Animal Trust Vet in Shrewsbury, I have recently moved to the area, so didn’t really know which Vet to go to, I read the reviews and booked appointment online, the Vet I saw took the time to make my dog Beau feel comfortable and also my other dog who wasn’t being treated but who won’t go anywhere without Beau, I was given all the necessary information to make a decision re his procedure, and really did feel that the Vet enjoyed her job, and had a bond with my dogs, I have been to other vets where this is certainly not the case. Could not fault the service in any way and felt welcome from the minute we walked in.

We are so grateful to the warm, kind, transparent, patient and communicative doctors and staff at Animal Trust. We drove from London for our Beagle Ollie’s TPLO procedure. The support over chat, on call was excellent. When we arrived, the surgeon spent almost 30 minutes with us going over Ollie’s history, details of the surgery. That helped prepare us well. We got an immediate and happy update right after the procedure. The surgeon even fixed another issue with Ollie’s knee cap during the procedure! The pick up was smooth and just as detailed in terms of what we need to do for Ollie’s post-op care. Cannot recommend this hospital enough. Thank you Animal Trust!

Brilliant vets and staff. Can't thank them enough during our tragic weekend when we lost our beloved Rosie the Beagle. They combined professionalism with empathy. Tried everything they could but in the end we all felt it in her best interest to let her go. Very raw at the moment but should we decide another Beagle deserves the love and attention of being a family member there's no doubt Animal Trust Vets will be their medics.

I visited Animal Trust Shrewsbury after receiving a quote for surgery that I would really struggle to afford. We were seen at the earliest opportunity and my dog is now recovering well from a major surgery, which turned out to be something totally different than he was diagnosed with at my own vets. They have checked in every other day to make sure he is doing well, communication has been amazing. The cost was less than half what my own vets would have charged. I have already been recommending this practice to others.

The animal trust vets were a god send to me and my family they managed to fix my Angels leg. Ed the vet we meet on Friday explained everything to us from start to finish and showed nothing but compassion to our situation we won’t ever forget your kindness toward our Angel and our family. To the team at animal trust thank you from the bottom of our hearts you made all our prayers come true, and for that we have we brought some gifts for all the staff to enjoy … Thank you from the Hussain family 🥰

They sorted out my elderly dog's dental problems for less than half the cost my previous vet had quoted. My dog recovered quickly from the general anaesthetic and now, a week later, is full of energy and improved appetite. The staff were brilliant. My only criticism would be that the type on the check in screens is very small and I could not use them, but the lovely receptionists happily checked me in manually.
